I'm away from you people for 4 days and I'm now 28 years and 200 pages behind. It's impossible to keep up. I scanned back over the last few days and want to address two things:

Mel: You have not offended me. You have never offended me. I have never taken anything you have said about me or towards me as inappropriate. I have always assumed your joking was in fun and of a friendly nature. I have never considered it to be flirtatious or untoward. Yeah, you say things I might not say, but so do a lot of people. I've never thought there was anything behind it. I just thought you were being friendly. I enjoy our snappy banter and vague references to Seinfeld episodes which may or may have existed. I didn't mean for my radio silence to cause you dyspepsia. Indeed, one of your posts made me very sad. Although I'm a shark in court, I would never do anything purposefully to hurt someone. I'm sorry you thought I was mad at you. I'm not.

Sheridac: The internet is a funny place and it's hard to judge peoples' tone. I'm not clear whether you are actually offended or just playing. But just in case, I didn't mean any offense towards you. I wasn't actually suggesting that Mel should off you, LaLa and Horsegirl or that it would be a good thing if she did. I was only trying to say (not very well evidently) that it was flattering to have women jokingly fighting over my cyber identity. It wasn't until I read LaLa's response that I realized my post could have a different meaning. I responded to her to set things right but didn't read back to my original post and, therefore, left you and Horsegirl out. It was not my intention to be disrespectful to you, Horsegirl or anyone else. My words were less than precise and if they caused you offense, I am sorry.

My practice keeps me pretty busy and there are times when I can find time to read this sillyness (no relation to HaleyB) and times when I can't. It's just the way things are. I probably won't be around very much over the next few months but I'll try to drop by from time to time if for no other reason than to find out who shot the sheriff.

oh thank heavens all is right with the world. We wuvs you zzub, but not like we love our DDhs. Thank you for allowing us some of the biggest laughs of our lives.

Fillybabe - I just noticed your ticker for DC and WV. (I know, I'm slow.) I'm such a museum nerdette, and I love DC! When I lived in VA, I used to go to DC on the weekends and roam the Smithsonian.

Thanks for the memories. Are you gonna take the kidlets to see the dinos or the zoo?

Snap- I love DC too! DJ and I have stayed at a couple really great hotels there w/o kids and did the town right. He used to be an aide and had lots of insider stuff. Luckily this was in the good ole days, before the worst president in history...

I degress, sorry i am political, anyway. YES! We ordered tickets to see the pandas, and are gonna do air/space, natural history, and just a little art, as I am so into that. Catch a couple o monuments and then head to the holler in WV for a family event...I am plotting how I can dis on the way down....in the car. its a long way south. JW I will wave to you
