Alright so here's my thoughts after a day of church, home and then more church...ahem, ahem...
1) I apologize for the shameless attempt at attention. It was indeed that. Shameless. However, it worked for a little while. Melons thinks I have rock hard abs.
2) Grammy - I saw the Jesus wept post, but I didn't understand it. Wondered how it fit - but it mus thave been a walton's thing. Only thing I remember from that is all the "Night John Boy" stuff.
3) I will forever be grateful for Cigna. When Rhonda was on that Zofran stuff, the pharmacist told us it was $1200 for a 30 day supply. We paid our $12 copay. We don't have Cigna anymore. But Mai Tai take off my hat to their company?!
4) I have never done the real full monty. At least not in public. Well, maybe that's not true. I wasn't always a preacher and I was in a fraternity in college...
5) I have another story to share that is just a little bit on the, shall we say, froggy side? I will save it for another post though. It is quite funny.
6) Rhonda didn't quite tell her story right about puking in the car. It was mostly correct except I told her when I read it that she didn't include enough details. Yes, it was Christmas Eve, Yes it was Chocolate milk. But she caught it in her hands and in her lap. Oh yes, all over herself, the jeans, the sweater. But get this, she kept it cupped in her hands until we got home. I gotta say, had it been me, I would have said to heck with it and tossed it out the window, in the floor, I mean hey - at this point, what's a few more ounces, right? To make it worse, there was this lady in our church (that neither of us liked very much) who popped in behind us. I hightailed it to the house, cause she had said she was going to bring by a christmas present. I didn't want rhonda to be seen with puke in her hands and such so she wouldn't be embarrassed. So I broke every speed rule to get home and so she could get in the house before this lady pulled up. Sure enough, Rhonda got inside just as she pulled in the driveway. Made for a very interesting Christmas Eve!
7) I'll share my other froggy story in a bit...
Blessings!
