Because I am waiting for the electrician to show up. Our outlet in the powder room isn't working now. The vent is in that room.

Poor man.

I'm blaming Tommy for all of it.

Here is ANOTHER stupid pic of me in my Beloved Tigger Ears. I am on the Jungle Cruise here. That's Beth's eye beside me. I'm forcing a hug on her. I'm a hugger. And a kisser. And a midnight Diser. I play my music in the sun...

And this... is just a BAD picture. Of me. Once again.

It was at Tea at the GF. My head looks flat tho. Weird. And FAT too. Geez. I think my head looks fat. I have a fat head. Apparently.

But looky... at all my clothes and stuff. Heh, heh.

Mel.

Hey Mel!

How many drinks did bridemellyman have before he took those anyways? Cause you look a little blurry. Out of fucus. But not fat. Or flat.

He drinks A LOT. He's married to me... after all.

Poor man.

I'm a little blurry because I don't know how to properly resize and copy with "effects" on Shutterfly. I can barely iron. Give me a break here.

Geez.

I LOVELOVELOVE the pictures of GA's kidlets!!!! Man... so cute. And what a good Mom, too. Making costumes. Now... I want to see a picture of her hubby. Heh, heh.

Thanks LOUBON!!!!!! Are you talkin' to me now?????? Right on. I'm gonna visit you on your Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants thread.

I added Melon's mission statement.

Maybe someone can proof the spelling 'cause I can't spell today.

And... I have to split and do some crap. Other than Dis all day.

Whoever's here make sure ZZUB offers me a proper apology today.

Kay????

Later, Mel.

GeorgiaA: Love those pics! Your kids are so cute! And they have a great Mama! The costumes look awesome, Girl.

Mel... You look adoreable. I love the Tigger Ears...are those the ones that result in terrible headaches afterwards?

Grammy Does this describe you ?

minx (mngks)
n.
1. A girl or young woman who is considered pert, flirtatious, or impudent.
2. Obsolete A promiscuous woman.

Why yes, I am a young, pert, flirty, obsolete promiscuous woman. Pretty much me in a nutshell. Geez, when I look for my pic in the dictionary I turn to the page with fabulous.

STAY OUT OF THE SPICES PEOPLE. I give them to my family for medicinal purposes only. Isn't that obvious when they talk for 15 minutes about succotash, when we aren't even having that.

Mel and horseyponypuritynordicgirlie really do look alike. Mel is wearing her pearls. I so love that about you. A classy woman not afraid to bounce an egg off her butt. My DH is interested in your special talent. My only talent is the ability to slip drugs and spices into my families regular diet.

Jamal - drive by my house and pick me up. I have a confession to make. I don't drink It is a long story. One of those lemon drops and I would bungee with no cord. Plus, you all know me alittle now. Imagine me with a drink or 2 in my system. I would be like this  Instead I will be the designated driver. I will get everyone on the monorail and hold a flag and say follow me and wear a viking helmet and pass out the fastpasses and the fanny packs and say lift your feet. Yah, sounds like good times.

I can not post on any other thread. This CB board is crazy, unsafe and unhealthy. Saw this thread this AM about tattoos. How come life imitates life? Geez, I waited till I was 45 to get one, placed it where it would drop to my knee at the proper time, no one can see it but hubby and me with a full length mirror :rotfl2: Geez, just like a stroller thread. I am so renting a stroller for all of you when we go drinking. With that I am going to sniff some spices, umh, Garlic salt.

BTW,BTW,BTW,BTW - if you all stop over I have enough booze in my house to get you all woozzyy for about 2 weeks.

Everybody else partakes. Just not me. A little sip about 3 times a year. Then I swing from the chandeliers and wear a lampshade. and maybe get arrested

Well, I haven't posted in awhile. Things have been pretty hectic around here, and I was spending so much time keepin' up with this thread, my school work started slipping. (Not to mention the kids were complaining about all my computer time, and DH too...and the laundry was out of control etc.)

So, I have given up on laundry, and the kids are back in school (just had April vacation), so the house is a mess anyway...and to top it all off, 2 of my dogs got into a HUGE fight this morning. HUGE. I have 3 dogs...they are all labs, and they have lived together in peace and harmony for awhile. The "puppy" is about 1 1/2 years old, and he decided today to attack my 10 year old lab. I guess older dogs have weak skin, cuz he looked like he lost a bar brawl. Lacerations to the skin around his eye, a cut on his ear...and a huge gash in his leg.

So, off to the vet for my old timer dog. All I can think about are the vet bills. Is that wrong?

DH just got home and told me they are having to put the dog to sleep to do surgery on his leg....they got into the muscle or something. Oh well...

At least I can count on you guys to make me laugh....

Maybe I'll try some oregano..

Man, a girl can't sleep around here without falling 5 pages behind. Plus 3 pages at the other place. Geesh.

Love the 'rella dress. You have talent, brains, looks, and cute kids. No fair.
I want a Princess dress. For me. Sophia will not dress up as a Princess for MNSSHP.

OK, need to work today and I really need some coffee. So play on. I will pop in latter to see what you have been up to.

Oh, Grammy, when is the Lemon Drop fest? I can bring Mr. Silly, he can help push the strollers. 'Cause no drinks for him right now. Yeah, I just invited myself. Pretty smooth of me. When are we going?

On Oct 2nd we are meeting in Epicot to ride the viking ship, say yorgie smorgie, and I think we may have to sample the Norwegian wines (and maybe a Margarita from Mexico?)

Oh, Infinity - so sorry about the dog. Sounds like the young'un wants to be the new leader of the pack. It is always such a hard transition.

My parents had a VERY old show poodle (actually took 2nd in breed at Westminster - in a puppy cut, she was not even a year old - probably would have won breed if Dad had put her into a "real" poodle cut) when they got a new Golden Retriever puppy. Well, the poodle was nearly blind, but knew her way around, and the main entrance to the P's house was on the 2nd floor - so she had to climb a set of steps every time she went out to do her business. The back steps were open on the side. The Retriever liked to run ahead of her and block the stairs (very passive agressive). I guess the poodle forgot where she was one day and stepped off the steps to go around - she broke her back and had to be put down. It was awful. My Dad (he's a veterinarian) couldn't even do it himself - had to call another Vet. He was devastated. The poodle was about 15 when it happened.

Okay, on a lighter note - just for Melly - ask and ye shall receive:

I'm with you Haley - even if I will have the kiddos with me - I have Disney transportation to depend upon - and no plans for seeing Gary that day. My mom, however, might be a little frightened by all of us - maybe I'll ditch them all to meet you guys. Are you going to be sans kids that day? I thought you had considered flying the oldest down from college - so the others will be with you, right?

And Melly - I am also really fond of this photo - of BOTH my men:

I am only on 207. I don't think I'll ever catch up...so if I missed anything real good let me know.

We had a great time at the beach. We woke up to cloudless blue skys, left the house with cloudless blue skys...got to the beach and it was totally overcast. I can't believe how quickly the weather changes. I was a little bummed, but at least we didn't need the umbrella. :thumbsup2 Well about 30 minutes later I noticed that it was sunny and when I looked up, the sky was cloudless again! It stayed that way all day. The water was rough, which I don't care for, makes it harder to watch the boys. I have some great pics, I'll try and post soon. I didn't get burned at all, just nice and tan. :cheer2: DH got burned though, as always. He won't let me put sunscreen on and always get burned.

Yesterday Kaleb starting running a fever again. By the time I realized he was hot it was 102.9. I should have known, he was being so good at the store and in the car.

Gas is 3.01 here. :confused3 We'll be paying $5.00 a gallon at this rate by the time we start with the hurricanes.

GA - I envy you with the potty training. My first 2 boys trained themselves and were totally accident free before they turned 3. Ethan is 3 now and now where near potty trained. I fell to a new low...today I let him run around without any thing on, just "free ballin" it, if you will....I've heard of people having success with that...him, not so much. It stead of running to his potty to pee because he had nothing on, he just left a puddle on the floor...like a dog. :sad2:

I'm in with the traveling Mickey too. We'll be there May 23-28 and also Sept. 14-24 So I'm available either of those trips.

Okay, I'm off. I need to get things settled around here. Hopefully I can lay down this afternoon...if only the laundry could fold itself.

Good afternoon everyone! Boy, am I in a Disney mood! Been working on the class I'll be teaching Saturday about Disney's Quality Customer Service (the class I took at the Disney Institute). I've been listening to park music and rides and such all morning. I wish I was there!

Blessings!

Aww, what a couple of cuties.

The kids should be with me, unless Steve is too afraid of us and decides to hide out with them, but I think they will all be there. Sophia sits on the other computer in the same room as me a lot of the time, so she has heard some of the more child appropriate stories. She will be sad that Mel's Tommy isn't going to be there.

That reminds me, what time is good to meet for you? Do you take afternoon breaks with the kids?

Geesh, I'm gone for a week (well, 9 days) and you've added almost 100 pages!!!! And I have to leave on a business trip to Atlanta tonight until Friday, with no laptop, and my computer at home is on the fritz....I'll NEVER catch up.

Do have some pix that I'll try to post next week if I can figure out how.

In the meantime, HORSEYPONYGIRL, I have to give you your props. Thanks to the inspiration from you, we bumped ourselves on the way down to Ft Lauderdale and got $2,450 in Delta vouchers!! (I know, odd amount, it's a long story) Our flight home was not overbooked, or we would've tried again. But I never would've done it if it weren't for you. THANKS!!!

The cruise was very nice. Great weather, nice beaches, but not very relaxing. I thought of you all often, and stressed about what I was missing. Then, I got home on Saturday and our computer was broken!! And, of course, I'm so busy catching up here at work that I don't have time today.

Anyway, thought I'd check in and say Hi, I missed you all, and maybe I'll bump into some of you GA folks this week while down your way. Are any of you near Norcross at all? Mark & Rhonda? GAAristocat? Anyone???

Have a great week!! I may just jump in without catching up when I get back on Friday. Let me know if I missed anything REALLY important!!

Haley -
Since this will be the kids' first trip to the world - I have no idea how things will fall out. My princess does not usually take an afternoon nap anymore (at least not at home) and I think I would have total meltdown if I tried to make her leave most days. So, I think we'll go strong most of the day and try to call earlier nights - we'll see.

What time is good? Strangely, your earlier post about grabbin a 'Rita after Stromin' made me start thinking about how cool it would be to 'Strom, then stroll over to the Cantina in Mexico and grab some 'Ritas and grub and wait for Illuminations - which would mean later in the afternoon. I think I have a dinner ADR for sometime around 6 in Italy - but it can be changed to either earlier (if we want to meet later, I could even do lunch instead of dinner) or later (if we want to meet in the late afternoon) if need be. Was that really really hopelessly confusing?

I guess it somewhat depends on what everyone is actually planning on doing when we meet up. Is this going to be a terribly awkward "Huh, so that's what you really look like" meet, then ride the ride, take some pics and it's over, or will people want to linger and chat? I prefer chatting while sitting with alcohol in my hand. Call me crazy. I bet they don't serve Cosmos in Mexico, though, do they? Seriously, depending on how many of us there are, we should check into the Illuminations Dessert thingy that gets that really good viewing spot. Illuminations and yummy desserts, etc.

ASHCLAN!!!! Welcome back - hope you had a lovely trip. Too bad you can't convert those Delta vouchers to a new laptop - and THANK GOODNESS Delta and the Pilots finally found some middle ground!

I'm back to cleaning now - I was just giving my shoulders a short break.

Ash -- you picked a good week to visit the ATL -- supposed to be beautiful weather every day except Wednesday. I think, although I'm not sure, that all of the Georgia people on this thread (except me) live either way south or way north of here. Ah Norcross -- the suburb of endless strip malls and office parks, where all directions include in them, some place, the following line "and you'll see a Waffle House on the corner ..." :lmao: Have a safe trip.

You didn't miss much, Let's see .... Someone threaten to shoot someone else. Mel kept jumping back into the pool. ZZUB said something to hurt Mel's feelings and now she is waiting for an apology. I called Sheri a mad *hore, she forgave me at the coffee shop, after calling me a s*ut. Horseypoodleypoohnordicgirl posted pics of herself and her kiddos. Grammy swings from the chandelier and looks up words like succotash and dips into spices and apparently she is a naughty minx. Her hip is about 19 years old! Someone keeps driving by ZZUB's house in a white van. ZZUB smells like pop-tarts, and Yzma and Kronk is now known as Yak. Polymelonmom,GeorgiaAristocat and Rhonda are major league pukers! Polymelonmom puked so much that suppositories were involved !RevMarkyMark said something off color and he wanted to pull it and he calls US Froggy! Sheridac got herself a really nice necklace for her b-day that she had to pick out herself. There's some meet n' greet at the Poly that involves Lemon Drops but Grammy can't drink otherwise she'll get arrested.

That's all I can remember for now.
