Once a month... At this rate it will be July by the time I am done. J/K, school is out in less than 2 weeks, then I will have more time.

Attention Lost Watchers:

I just watched last week's episode yesterday (Too much real life, too little TV time). Thank Heavens for the invention of the DVR!

Anyhoo, I'm sure this has probably been discussed to death, but I just got the Wizard of Oz references (sheesh...I'm so slow!), and it's got me wondering how much of this show is going to end up being a "there's no place like home" thing.

Anybody have any thoughts on this...and feel free to tell me I'm nuttier than Snickers bar!

Good Morning Maelstromers!!!!
It's icky and pouring rain here. I have a bunch of pages to get caught up on. I'm off to read them and then I'll be back later to check in. I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday. We spent about 6 hours in the car yesterday! Next year I am staying home. It's my Mother's Day too and I don't want to spend all day in the car inhaling fumes. Inhaling spices is far better!!!

hooP and I are celebrating 19 years of marriage today. Where did the time go? I'm glad I got married when I was 6 !!! Happy Anniversary hooPster !!

Thanks LouHorseyPolyMomJamalLLKFricklesSheridacLillygatorandPPoohChapStick for the Birthday Wishes! My kids were almost extra sweet this morning, and Daddy did make sure they said Happy Birthday to me. Audrey wanted to know if we got to eat with Cinderella on my birthday, too. Sadly baby, we don't.

Who asked about cake? I made a birthday Tiramisu yesterday. Yummmmmm. It's chilling. Still need to make some chocolate curls for the top.

And my apologies to those I ran out on last night. It was a dual summons, the husband (which I can sometimes ignore) and the boy (which I can't. How whacked is that?) DH wanted me to help put the clothes away that he had folded and were on the bed so that he could go to sleep. The boy just wanted me to pat his back while he fell back asleep.

For my birthday I'm buying myself a new sewing machine. I know, not very romantic, but cheaper than the DSLR that I really want.

Speaking of photography. I actually entered a photograph in the photo contest this week. I will post links to the contest (when they get the polls up). Everyone needs to go look at the pics, choose a favorite one, and VOTE (don't worry - it won't be mine and that's okay. I have an okay point and shoot, but don't have any incredible photos, unlike some of the very talented people over there.) Think of it as my birthday present. And it's fun!
