I LOVE it when I see Alice characters at Disney. Is that you and your little one in the pic?

from what i understand girls are harder than boys
i am happy with my 2 boys and i aint havin more so i am all set
i thank god got what i have

I am sitting as far from the chocolate as possible, since I am rather hoggish as far as chocolate goes.

I wish I could stay longer but I have to leave in a little bit, on my way to the Dr. :woohoo: :sad2: I have a retarted back that won't quit hurting, so I will just have to go in there like a junkie and ask for pain pills. I always feel like a hypochondriac going to the Dr. anyway, (although I don't know why since I almost never go)
Ok, my will power is spent, will someone please pass the chocolate? All of it! I want some for now and some to stash some in my purse for the ride, it helps me forget that I am feeling sorry for myself!!

You'll probably have to fight me for the chocolate, MM! I love the stuff.

Sorry about your back. I hope you get some nice pain killers for it. Not much worse than back pain. Stop in when you get back!

I've never tried chai. Is that in the tea section?

Yes, it is. The Pacific Chai is a dry mix and has a creamy spiced tea flavour. My sister makes Chai that is from tea bags and it is not near as good. (Sorry sis!) I have also tried the Oregon Chai Co or something like that. It is a liquid and you add it to milk, but it's a little too spicey for me. Not sure which spice is too heavy, but one of them just overwhelms it for me.

CF'er--I am sorry to hear about your situation. It would be really hard to leave a job that you feel so strongly about. Best wishes with your health though. :grouphug:

now... who wants a spoonful of sugar in their tea? it's supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and even suoicodilaipxecitsiligarfilacrepus

CF'er, I am so sorry to hear about your situation. And here I was crying over a little back ache. I hadn't read your post when I typed my last one. Sorry. I hope things somehow improve for you. I will be praying for you. :grouphug:

My CF requires me to take lots of pills... digestive enzymes, vitamins, antibiotics, asthma stuff, GI stuff etc....

(The fact that I palm and swallow 15'ish pills at a time (with lots of practice over my 39yrs) had me laughing at the "how to get your kid to swallow a pill" thread the other day.)

I also have permanent pneumonia. It flares up and I go to the hosp and get IV antibiotics and intense respiratory therapy and usually finish it all up at home. We knock the bugs down, they stay down for awhile. When they see their chance the multiply again and flare back up and we start the fun again.

I do daily respiratory treatments at home much like asthmatics do. It's a full time job in itself. Having a family is a full time job. I can't do both. With CF I have no choice. I can't really give up the family so something (job) has to go.
CF is a fatal genetic disorder. The median survival age is now 36. I am 39. I know lots of people that are older and also those who didn't see 36. Eventually I may need a lung transplant but the dr's seem to think that my health won't get that bad.

I like the idea of PRN though. I can work at will and not feel guilty. Less $$ for WDW though so we may not be going back too soon.

I know..... too much information. But you asked. LOL

Pass the tea please.

LOL !! AWESOME !! :rotfl: :rotfl2: Ah i love tea and alice
anyone going to wdw august 13th thru the 23rd?

nope i'm going in December...

i'm bored again maybe i should get more tea

Hey MM.... don't worry about it. We all have our limits and what we deal with. There are those of you out there that are dealing with stuff I could probably never handle.

People say.... How do you do it? (about alot of stuff if you think about it) Well, what are you going to do other than deal with it? If it's a sick child.... push him/her to the curb and walk away? Family stuff? It's all relative and what we are used to. People with cancer.... did they ask for it just because they were bored or looking for a challenge? NO, but they deal with it as best they can.

That whole soapbox thing got me thirsty again.... more tea please..... LOL
