I once got a PM from a guy who said the Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah quote in my sig was wrong. Because in the movie, Song of the South it says "It happened on one of them Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah days, where you can't open your mouth without a song popping right out." I told him I know but the quote in my sig is hanging on the wall in line for the ride. Then he asked me if I had ever seen the movie, because they don't sell it anymore, and I told him yes I did, as a matter of fact, and had he ever been on the ride? He didn't answer me, only restated how it went in the movie and how he was right. And all this was after he already hijacked a thread with a completely unrelated topic to tell me it was wrong.

Disneyrsh, we have a heat pump. So how does none of what you say matter if it is a heat pump. This is an area that I have no idea what I am talking about. My DH handled all of that stuff, I just wrote the check. I think I had the worse job. I hate handing out all that money if I don't have too.

Lucky you...dinner out! Make sure you let us know where you eat so that I can live through you! I just threw a package of hot dogs at dh and told him we were grilling out tonight. LOL My contribution will be a bagged salad that I dump out of the bag and into a bowl, add salad tongs to and serve! Dessert will be watermelon out on lawn (no way I am letting them have at big old hunks of drippy melon in the house or even on the deck).

How are the stairs coming?

Well, we went all fancy and went to Subway With a 5k a/c repair bill looming on the horizon it's going to be subway and mac and cheese for a while...

I've had to hold off on the stairs a bit because the a/c guys have been tromping up and down them, and I'd rather have to do a bit of re-sanding than have them trash the varathane finish I'm going to put on it.

I did do some wood puttying yesterday, it was so hot I basically sat on the stairs with a can of wood putty and talked to my mom on speakerphone while I worked. It made sense to do the wood putty because I'll need to sand it anyway. Lots and lots of nails holes in the treads.
