The only meets I've ever done were on Disney cruises. It was really fun to meet up with other DISers. I still keep in touch with a couple of them.

Good Sunday everyone! My DH went hunting again, and my DD just went down for a nap and I really need to catch up on some house cleaning. Take out recycling, dust, etc...Just wanted to drop in and say hello!!!

No, Bon, I do not know any of them at all...except for an occaisonal post on the DIS. The DISer that set this up was so organized. We are also doing a Xmas SWAP!!!!

Nope! I missed it! What happened?

When I first joined disboards back in April of 2005, I wondered what the D standed for when everyone referred to their family members as DH,DD,DS, etc...I almost started a thread asking what it meant, but thought "This is a Disney board. We talk about Disney here, so it can only mean Disney." Anyway, yesterday I started a thread asking people if they've ever referred to their family members as Disneydaughter, Disneyson, etc...in public by accident. Everyone responds telling me it means dear. I got some laughs. Some people responded and told me they know other posters who thought the same (yeah right)But for the most part I got laughs.

We talk about Disney here, so it can only mean Disney." There was a thread back awhile about this. I think it means darling. And when I do talk to my DH I have to sensor myself to make sure I dont say DH or DD but their actual names.

Although I was embarassed about it, I'm laughing at it now. FYI whenever I say DH,DD, I mean it as Disney. The D will now stand for Disney in my mind.

Crazy night last night. DISNEYhusband went hunting again this weekend. His friend's little dog decided to sleep downstairs and hunt mice all night. We have a small problem with them now, but not that bad. I'm dead asleep when he starts barking at 3:30. I go downstairs and he's looking behind the entertainment center. I tell him to come upstairs with me NOW, and he just goes right back to the couch. I think his owner is coming home tonight, my DH tomorrow. I sure hope so! That dog is usually good, just not last night. Do you have any pets?

I have 2 cats that can be a handful. Usually Gigi will wait until one of us gets up in the morning and she will then go get on the bed to get the other person up. This morning neither of us was getting up so Gigi picked me to get in my face and meow. I pushed her off the bedand she shut up. But then DH got up for good and therefore I got up so Gigi got her way.
