UGH!!

What kind of work does your DH do?

I hope he doesn't have to work...and you get some time together!

We is a metal worker/machinist (sp?) he works in a factory that makes car valves.

I figured out the chat room.....but it is overwhelming.....and I don't want my weekend with my DH ruined....so I am feeling sorry for myself.

Hi everybody!!!

Boy do I feel your pain Nichole. DH has worked 6 days on 1 day off 12 hours a day for the last 5 weeks. It stinks. Factor in that it takes him an hour commute each way, the kids get to see him for 1 hour a day. He leaves at 5am and gets in at 7 pm.

He works at Surry Power Station. He has been there for 20 years. He works in the Radiological Protection Department.

It pays well especially for here...no where here pays enough. Most people work two jobs just to pay the bills.

The $$ is nice, but we miss having him around. But his schedule should go back to normal schedule as of Monday. YAY!!!!!

My cousin actually worked as a security guard there for a summer...probably about 20 years ago!!!
