Don't feel that way.............life goes on. My mom had two operations, one hip replacement and one pin in her ankle on the opposite leg. She's been bed and wheel chair bound for 2 months..............she's now learning to use a walker. I spent a LOT of time (and a lot of posts!) feeling guilty about not being able to be there with her the whole time..................it comes down to, you just can't.

Besides, she would probably feel TERRIBLE if she was the cause of Drew missing his vacation...............

Your not selfish to be thinking of your trip. You have been planning and waiting and want to be able to go, thats understandable. Will you all still go ?

Yes, we're still going (unless something tragic happens between now and Sat.). DH talked to MIL tonight and she was in really good spirits and didn't seem too concerned. FIL is upset, though. He has been driving over 1 hour each way to see her every day, so he's very stressed. They were planning to release her to the continuous care center today and now this.

Unfortunately he can't. He has his own insurance business, so he has to go there every morning to deal with things and heads to the hospital in the early afternoon...getting home after 9:00 most nights.

We will be there from the 11-18...leaving at 9:00pm on the 18, so we basically have the whole dat. We're staying at Saratoga Springs and will definitely be in all of the parks . We're doing a Wishes fireworks cruise on the 12th and MVMCP on the 13th .

Oh let me know how you like the Wishes cruise. I would love to do that. Sounds like a great trip. We haven't stayed at Saratoga Springs before. We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and are stuck on it now.

We had that problem....we had about a month of problems with the internet not working and they couldn't do anything with it....I was so and they just didn't care.
