good evening ladies. Baked a pie tonight-well the actual act of baking is taking place now. Man was that a lot of work. I'm tired! I just hope it turns out ok...

Its apple. I went apple picking not too long ago and have a ton of leftover apples. I've only tried this once before and it wasn't a huge success. Plus I had to use shortbread piecrust. Hope that isn't a problem

I love pumpkin pie. its my absolute favorite. The reason I'm baking is there is a potluck tomorrow at work. I hope someone brings a pumpkin pie! I'm too cooking inefficient to try and make one

Oooh, that IS a lot of work! I think the shortbread will be fine. Did you sprinkle on some sugar?

You have parties? Our schools don't allow Halloween parties. Little son's preschool does though..................

Hey Paige, it is probably me! I do not like pumpkin pie, but I do like pumpkin roll or pumpkin cake that I had a couple of weeks ago. I had it at a pot luck and it was wonderful. I asked the lady for the recipe, I still don't have it. I guess she isn't sharing.
