Tricia, it's sort of fluish.......................I am sure Little son will have it too.........I so wish he wouldn't........he is not a good patient.

I hate when my kids are sick. Being a mother I can now understand how my Mom used to say "honey I wish I would be sick instead of you". She use to tell us that all the time when we were little. I guess now I truly know what she meant by that.

Now when my DH gets sick . He is such a big baby.

My dh too. You'd think, because he's been sick so long, he'd learn to handle it better.....................but no. He actually YELLED at me once this week because I hadn't made tea in the hour I'd been home.................., and he'd stayed home sick that day. I do not like being yelled at.

I hear ya Paige. If I'm sick the house still functions. I may not feel well but I still cook, do the laundry, help with homework. You get the picture. When DH is sick he just goes to bed. That's why I hate for him to get sick. Thankfully he doesn't get sick often.

Oh crap. I have to do that..........report cards, not lunch with grandfather..............happy birthday to him by the way, I have no granfathers.................

I brought papers home and my gradebook to do reports with...........these are the midway progress reports..........it's only been 2 weeks since report card grades went in 'cause we had a break in between............but I had forgotten I had to do it.

Tricia, my brother Frank lives near Tulane. I forget the name of his street...................His company moved across the Lake to some town I forget the name of after Katrina, and so now he has this long commute across Lake Pontchartrain that he didn't have before.............

Tricia, I answered your post here this morning..................you were gone already.

We are big Tulane fans here. Go Wave!

My DH is just the opposite of your brother. We used to live on the South Shore. Suburb of New Orleans. After Katrina we now live on the North Shore or as you said across the lake. My husband still works in New Orleans so he commutes every day. It's only about 50 minutes so it's not that bad.

Yes. I took my Grandfather and my Mom to Applebees. Very original huh? I kept asking "Papa" where he wanted to go and my son kept saying Applebees. I'm not sure if that's where he would have chosen but my son won this one.

What's your fishy's name? I keep seeing him swim around down there and I've asked twice, and you always sign off just then...............

Our fish is named Fred. It's really funny because before the storm we had a fish named Fred. Of course he did not come with us when we left. In all honesty I didn't even think of him. Anyway, my son was upset with all the water that our house took in. I told him that Fred swam through the mail box (we had the mail slot in the door) and out to the lake. He bought it. As soon as we got settled in our new house "Fred" was one of our first purchases.
