I know, I know. I've talked with some DISers around my neck of the woods about meeting up, but who knows if it will really happen? They had a meet a while back but I didn't attend. I'll go to the next one, probably.

There are some around here quite often..............I've never been. They actually are usually fairly close to me, too, but I always seem to be going OUT of town when they hold them.

We went to the Reniassance Festival in Vegas once. Let's just say that it was not very child friendly. But the girls did get to ride a camel, and we ate some extremely tasty meat pies.

We had gone to King Arthur's Tournament at Excalibur a couple weeks before and we recognized the same knights from the tournament at the Renaissance Festival. It was kinda cool, and they were hot!

I'm so sorry about the Arby's thing. Would you like me to mail some to you?? You've gotta change the association to something like the tough prime rib and Cinderella's Castle!

The Reniassance Festival here is pretty kid friendly. DS LOVES IT! This is his 3rd time this year and it's only open Labor day to this weekend. Every time he buys a new sword or shield or both! He tells us when he grows up he wants to go to war and fight with a sword! I don't have to tell you he lives in a fantasy world.
His mom picks up his dirty clothes too... it's gonna be a rude awakening one day!

Did you guys post on FC's thread about liking the smell of skunks. I made a comment that I thought was funny; I hope he does not get offended though.

I said FC needed to let me know what kind of cologne he wore and I would let him know if I liked the smell of skunks. You know, since he's a skunk and all?

Now I'm worried it will be taken meanly and that is not how I meant it.

We've never had any meets around here. We have the New Orleans thread but they really only have a few people who post on it. I'm really not trying to be mean by saying this but I want to meet those I consider my friends. Not people I never post with. Was that mean?

No, but I posted on the PMS thread when he came on that I liked the smell of skunk because that meant I'd killed them with my car and they wouldn't be bothering me when I took my walk at night. Pretty sure it offended him. He's one of the 4.
