That's great! I know I don't like to be rushed. It must be nice to be in a laid back atmosphere and not have to worry about due dates and the like. I was considering leaving the profession. I had had it Thursday. Friday I was off for the dr., and it gave me time for some perspective. Today I made this decision, and now I am much happier!paigevz said:

But, I will say that I do LOVE teaching. I LOVE the kids. I was teaching Thursday and hating every minute of the meetings, the book studies, the testing...........and yet, while I was teaching, I kind of thought to myself, but what else to do? I LOVE this! AND I love the school I teach in........these are the little ones raising themselves, watching the wrong things on TV and worse things in front of their house, playing unsupervised in the dumpsters....................and I love them. I enjoy their innocence despite all the mess their lives are in. I understand their anger, and their stoicism when they are sick or hurt. I understand why, to them, the cops ARE the bad guys.
