I used to drive the kids around for Nick's football team to do that...........so fun! I miss football.................

I dont know what an 02 sensor is but I have not had any trouble with the speedometer jumping. I do have a check engine light on that never goes off. I have taken it in several times to the mechanic and he reassures me that everything is ok. He said the light just needs to be reset and nothing to actually do the the engine. The dealership has to reset it and no telling how much they will charge.

One of our moms did turn her ankle.............but it was allright after a few minutes...............

All the kids screaming, paper everywhere, piling back into the cars...........even dh went!

Mine was a check engine light btw.............

no state inspections that Im aware of. Last thing and then no more car talk. How much did it cost to do the 02 thingy/check engine light?

I have the same issue!!! Loved doing it too, but I am a bit slower than I was some 25+ years ago.

Once, when we got TPd, my dad made us clean it up and keep all the Toilet Paper for future use!

It was 197 dollars, but I wouldn't have done it if I hadn't needed to for state inspection. The guys at the parts store said it wasn't a big deal, but it makes you fail inspection anyway. The sensor itself was 88 dollars, but then our cars are made where it takes hours and hours to get to it to change it, so all the rest was labor. They had quoted me 300 bucks, so I was glad to be 100 less than I thought................
