How great that you do that! I would love to go volunteer in our local library and read to the kids. Is it a volunteer thing in your town?

Nope, I had to get my Master's to do it! lol I'm a Children's Librarian. My library is union, so we don't let volunteers do just about anything.

I know the schools let the parents volunteer to read to the kids.

We're going on the Royal Carribbean to Cozymel, Yucatan, Honduras, and somewhere else. We planned it for May to celebrate our anniversary and because of the way all the dates fell, we depart on our anni!! Thought that was pretty cool. I need to get to my housework as it is now 2:00. I have to say, I'm glad, we needed it. I had a dentist appointment today for a cleaning, and just went ahead and took the rest of the day! I'm enjoying it! How old are your kids, Tricia?

Hello Cousins!

I cooked all morning and into early afternoon. I am making and freezing things for mom, dad and grandma for the next little while. They now have 4 bags of chili, 2 of turkey cutlets, 3 of ground cooked turkey, 4 of turkey patties, and 3 of roast chicken. Mom is onlysupposed to eat fowl and fish. They also have some canned chili and salmon. There's a whole freezer basket full of frozen vegetable packets, and another one with frozen fruit. There's nuts and whole wheat pasta in there, and plenty of oatmeal and dry cereal.

I am about to begin the cleaning. There's a lot to do, but I needed a rest, so here I am!

Lucas is fine, now, but his fever did come up some last night. His appetite is not all the way back, but he is eating some from the BRAT diet. I took him for a walk in the woods, and now I have him in the bath to make sure it didn't bring back his fever.

So what's everyone else up to today?
