When we were talking about going to the World together, I said I needed you all to be my cousins so I could say it was a family reunion to get out of work.

Then, I said my favorite smilie was the "strumpet" and, somehow it ended up that way.

Heck, how do we come up with any of this stuff?

Bonnie, I was trying to answer your post and this comp shut down on me again.

I'm not a working mommy at the moment, as I'm in Oklahoma at Mom's. I took today and tomorrow off. In a way it was a good thing that Lucas chose now to get sick. It would have been much more trouble if we'd come back after I took off two days and THEN he got sick.

No, Mom is not in good spirits. She's pretty depressed. She alternates between escaping into her books and crying. I'm just doing what I can for her.

Oh, no, I'm sorry to hear she is so depressed. How did I miss that you were in Oklahoma? I didn't realize your mom lived there; I thought you lived in the same town.

'Cause we hardly ever get to chat, Bonnie!

No, I live in Texas and she's in Oklahoma, but was in hospital in Arkansas for a while. She's only been home a little while, and I have been jumping out of my skin to get up here and help her out. I am pretty satisfied that I'm leaving her better off, but she will be sad to see me go. Her mother is here, though......she's limited in what she can do, but at least she can be company for her.

I'm being called away to change light bulbs. Back in a flash!

I think we will be going out to eat as DH gets out of school at 8, there is no food in the house, we have to go grocery shopping tonight so eating out is the best option. When we grocery shop while hungry we come home with stuff that we dont even like! It looked good at the store
