Sorry to hear about all the problems. I find it very strange that special needs kids are in the same class as kids that aren't. I don't ever remember a time where they put us together. Better for the sp.needs kids too. Little kids can be so mean to each other. Perhaps you could find another school? Maybe the setup would be better. I don't think they would be too jazzed about you wanting to go part time, because that would mean they'd have to pay salary and benefits to another person to cover the 2nd half of the day. It may not work for them financially.
I do enjoy my job. I feel very lucky to have a boss who is more than that, she is a friend and we are confidants to each other. Even though she is several year older than me, I think on some level we understand each other. With the coming year being so uncertain in my personal life, I am glad to know that I can count on my job and her to be there. I can't say I look forward to going in every day, but its a good job and I like who I work with. I am fortunate to be able to say that
