Bonnie, we are home, we went to Dr.'s office and got a bag of fluid. They shot her up with some drugs to stop her throwing up and to stop her diareah. I hope she is going to be ok. The only thing she has eaten both times in 48 hr. timeframe was scrambled eggs. So, I took those to the Dr. and he was notifying the health dept. to do a followup. He also gave us perscriptions for her incase it all comes back. But he isn't sure she hasn't developed an allergy to eggs. But he says it could still be a bug. I don't think so though. Thanks for caring.

Mary, I'm sorry to hear she's still not better.

Keep an eye on her. If you think she's dehydrating or getting worse over the weekend and can't get to the doctor, don't hestitate and go to the ER!

Hi Muffy!

Did you guys do that geography test? That thing is fun. I did it twice and had my 7th grade DD do it. She has to take the short bus! She still has not passed, after 4 tries. It took my two tries cause I ran out of time the first time.

I tried a few times, but i'm not good on this laptop mouse


The test still came negative!

Did you make an appoitment for the doctor??

No, I don't have one here, yet. Gonna have to go to the Quick Care place. I don't want to have to wait a long time to get in to see the doc. But I am confused as to why that test is negative. I have all the symptoms. With Ainslee the stick test was negative too, and I was SHOCKED when the doctor told me I was PG. Could be the same thing this time.

If you had this before, it could be your body doesn't react to those tests properly.


Were you always regular? being 4 weeks late you know something is going on!

Hopefully she'll feel better soon, Mary. Being dehydrated makes you feel like dookey, so hopefully the fluids will help. You really kept the eggs? I would have thrown them out long before I realized my child was sick. Or did you fish them out of the trash?

When she got sick the first time, we thought that maybe it was the chicken nuggets she had gotten at Chick Fil A. We didn't really put 2 & 2 together about it being the eggs until she got sick today. She ate them yesterday for breakfast and according to the Dr. it can take up to 72 hours for salmanella to kick in. So when she got sick the first time, the eggs weren't the first thing we thought of. When she got sick today, it was the first thing I thought of. So, I took them out of the frig to take with us to give to the Ped., so no I didn't save them, had I known that it was the eggs, they'd have been gone.

DH is still driving home from Tennessee and they might stop to stay at a hotel if they get too tired.

The girls and I played Harry Potter Scene it and it was a good time. Now we're just hanging out.

Hello, here at mom's on dial-up so I may be slow. She's okay, but as I suspected, gets depressed towards evening. She was apologizing for it, and I told her to stop apologizingl....she's in pain, it's a long day, she's tired from all her pt, her blood sugar was probably a bit low as dinner wasn't done yet, she hasn't been in the sun in a awhile...........she's reading now while ds watches a movie we got him at garage sales this am.
