Hello, here at mom's on dial-up so I may be slow. She's okay, but as I suspected, gets depressed towards evening. She was apologizing for it, and I told her to stop apologizingl....she's in pain, it's a long day, she's tired from all her pt, her blood sugar was probably a bit low as dinner wasn't done yet, she hasn't been in the sun in a awhile...........she's reading now while ds watches a movie we got him at garage sales this am.

Sorry to hear of everyone under the weather: Mary's daughter, Bonnie (though hopefully for a great reason) and Mindy.

Paige, I am so glad you got there ok. I have been thinking about you and Jay traveling everytime on got on this thread today. I'm sure Jay is having a much better time than I had today. Emily is feeling better tonight and I got her off to bed without much incident. So hopefully, tomorrow will be better for us around here. I hope things work out ok for your mom.

Maybe you woke me up! I got hives on the way, and I hated to do it but had to take benadryl or I wasn't gonna be safe driving for trhing to scratch. Anyway, the benadryl made me sleepy before I realized it, and at one point my brain kind of went "POP" and I realized I had NEARLY dozed off..........very scary. For a second there, I wasn't sure if I was really awake or really asleep and dreaming of driving. I pulled off at a McD's and let Luke play while I drank TWO sodas.......Ihate coffee, it makes me ill.................

Thank goodness for caffeinated sodas. I have had to stop and get one on more than one occassion driving to NC.

Falling asleep at the wheel is VERY scary. I did it a few times when I was a stupid teenager and trying to spend every minute I could with my boyfriend at the time. Now I'm much smarter, I make DH drive

I did one time when I was pregnant with DD after work one day. I was in my 2nd trimester and didn't realize how tired I was, and at a stop light I zoned out and next thing I remember was horns blowing at me to move. I don't think it was very long, but it really scared me. I backed off my hours the next day.

Good morning, Mad Chatters!

Sorry I left so abruptly last night. My computer kicked me off and I couldn't get back on the rest of the night. DH fixed it this morning though.

We skipped church today cause we are going to the Nationals baseball game in D.C. But I might stay home, I haven't decided. We are taking the metro in, and that things gets me sick anyway. I can't imagine how I'll feel riding it now that I've been so nauseous lately. So far today I feel okay, so my fingers are crossed that today will be a turning point! But I haven't eaten yet either.

Brent made it back safe and sound from Tennesse with 27 tubs that we had to leave behind when the U-Haul broke down during the big move. Now my Christmas stuff is here at least, and some more of my FAll stuff and who knows what else. I'm glad it's finally here!
