The Mad Chatters thread Part 3

It is crazy, but I am liking it better. I am still half heartedly looking for another job, but I am not wanting to quit every day.

How is yours?

How was dinner, Bonnie? Work is work. It's going. I can't really say anything else good about it. LOL Are you still surviving the kids?

Mine is still really hard. But today I was looking around and I realized that I have fallen in love with the kids in my class. I have gotten to know them all by now and I love talking to them and seeing improvement with them. There's just TOO MANY in a too-small room and it drives me batty.

Denise, I chose Carrabba's for dinner (again) and I got my usual, filet marsala. Soooo good! But I threw it all up afterward. Luckily, I was prepared and saved most in a to-go box to eat tomorrow!

I can only imagine! Is there any way you could get a bigger room? What about them hiring another teacher, and splitting the class in half? Is that possible? That way, the kids get more one on one attention. As hard as the teachers try, it's so very hard to have one on one with so many kids.

Yum! I always get the spaghetti. I know, I'm lame! I hope you can get over this throwing up stuff soon! :guilty:

Aww. Isn't it weird how you can love a kid that drives you batty so much? And especially one that you didn't even give birth to.

I am sorry that you are still having stomach issues. That has to be driving you crazy.

Yes!! But I'm kinda getting used to it. 2 - 4 times a day for the past week! :guilty:

We asked the principal to split it, but she said the company said they would have to get 7 more kids before they would be able to do that. I told her to start a waiting list! Hopefully it will happen soon! I have the greatest assistants! I'm really glad I have the ones I do. There are some lame assistants working there. Mine don't speak English very well but they are hard workers.

Doesn't the Sponge Bob song crack you up?

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? (Sponge Bob, Square Pants!)
Absorbant and yellow and porous is he! (Sponge Bob, Square Pants!)

Makes me laugh every time!

That's great! For all you that dislike your job very highly: What I do is I think of 3 things that I like about my job each day, after work. (Despite all of the negatives.) It really boosts me into a positive mood.

Sponge Bob's voice gets on my nerves so bad, I make the kids go into their rooms to watch it. I can't STAND it! :lmao:

Well, I better log off of here.

Happy Birthday to You!
Happy Birthday to You!
Happy Birthday, Dear Bonnie!
Happy Birthday to YOU!

Hope you have a great night. Enjoy it!

:bday: :cake:

Stephanie, I've been meaning to ask: What's a dog kong? :confused3

Sorry, was throwing dinner together.

It is some kind of dog toy. Of course I was being completely infantile, and didn't take it that way at first. I went straight to the gutter. :rotfl:

I am actually surprised I ended up with a tag out of it. I said much more benign things on the Target balls thread and got my posts pulled. :confused3 The tag fairy was in a good mood that night I guess!
