Mine are only 9 and 7 and my girls fight all the time lately too!! It is driving me crazy. I am taking to the idea of locking them in a room together and let them fight it out.

I hear you on the girls fighting. Mine are 14 and 10. Do you have a book called The Care and Keeping of You? It's an American Girl book. Your nine year old may like it.

Oh, I've seen that book, but I"ve never bought it. That's a good idea. :thumbsup2

Were your girls into A.G. when they were younger? Heather (12) used to be; she had a few of the dolls and accessories, and nearly all the book sets. Caitlin.

Oops, sorry. I was talking on the phone and I forgot to submit this!

No, neither of my girls were ever into American Girl Dolls. They did have a My Twin doll though. That was really cute. You send in a picture of them and they send you a doll that looks like your daughter.

Yeah, I've seen those! So cute! And they have the matching girl and doll clothes you can get.

My girls never got the dolls, but they LOVE the doggies and kitties! My kids are far more into animals than they ever were into dolls. Heather (stepdaughter) was into AG dolls but no baby dolls or anything like that. She did like Barbies.

Now my girls all 3 play Littles Pet Shop together. They LOVE LPS and have like 80 guys now.

DD10 was really into Bratz for the last two or three years. She really doesn't play with them anymore. I have so many of them in the closet. My older DD loved Barbies when she was little. They didn't have Bratz then.

Hey everyone! How was everyone's day? I was at a waterpark and it started pouring. We waited about 3 hours (eating, sitting in a hot pool) before we gave up. As soon as we got home and showered, the sun came out!! Go figure

Hi Kim!
Sorry your water park day got rained out! That really sucks.

Tricia, those new Bratz Kids dolls are cute. They aren't nearly as hussyish as the teens. We got one for the gift we took to the birthday party today.

Not feeling well, so I'm gonna sign off. Have a great night!

Oh, I love those little Bratz babies! They are really cute. I like the littlest pet shop things too. I don't wish for the hormones you guys were talking about, but I do wish to be able to buy the cute stuff.................I just buy "fighting guys".........that's pretty much all mine want.........you can get the superheroes and villains, disney heroes and villains, army men, knights, pirates........but in the end they are all "fighting guys".

Why is there always someone who wants to fight on these boards? On the "Would you ever cheat" thread, I said "Huh. One man is enough trouble for me........."

Further down some man commented that "Why any man would want or could stand another woman is beyond me."

Obviously, his post and mine are jokes, right?

Some guy comes on and lectures me about showing men respect and that men would never say women were trouble. Excuse me? Men say that all the time!

I quoted him and said that I love my husband and would never cheat on him and it was a JOKE and that plenty of men have joked the same way about women on the boards...........then I quoted the other man's post and said "See? A joke............."

I run into these sorts at work sometimes..........I tell my friends there that I guess they just don't have any REAL problems to worry about, so they have to take offense at ordinary stuff..................

Adorable art, Tricia, where do you get these things? I did accidentally wander into the baby food aisle at the grocery today.........I came out of there telling my husband that I DO want another. He's not convinced yet, but it'll take a couple years to get the finances ready, so I've got time to convince him!

The Smilies come from BestSmileys.com and TheSmilies.com.
I have a good time with them. I want one in my tag so bad. Maybe one day.

You never know, Bonnie got hers!

So do your girls like to dress girly?

I just love the little girlish clothes.........I have 2 nieces, 10 and 8..........the 8 year old wears the sweetest little things, the 10 year old dresses like a 19 year old!
