Good Morning, Sarah! Nope, I haven't tried anymore books off the list yet. I'm going to have to do that if none of this works out. How fast can Amazon get it shipped off? We need it by Saturday at the LATEST- for her to read by Monday. We even tried eBay, they have it, but I'm afraid we wouldn't get it in time. Oh trust me, she WILL be paying for it!

They have one day shipping that costs more than the book ($16.95). You have to buy the hardback. They don't have the paperback.

Total with one day shipping is $28.83!

Oh my goodness!

I don't want her to pay $30.00 for a book for school. Even with her own money.

Sarah, yesterday I took the kids to storytime at our library, and the storytime lady was not pleasant! She was very bossy, even to the moms and my kids told me that she is mean. That doesn't make storytime very pleasant!

I"m sure that you are a lovely storytime lady though.

Hi Jay! Great to see you today!

Michelle, teaching is wonderful and rewarding, but it is really easy to get burned out! The end of last year for me was awesome. At Kindergarten Graduation, after I gave all the parents the memory books I had made for their child, they thought I was da bomb! They gave me a lot of nice presents, but the best was the wonderful personal messages they wrote for me on the cards they gave me. Those meant a lot. A couple people told me that I would always be that one special teacher that their child would never forget who made a difference in their child's life. That made me feel so good!

OH, thats so sweet. I know the special messages they wrote for you meant alot. I hope I can do it. I would love to feel like I made a difference. I figured if I just really didn't like teaching the small children, I can always get my master's and teach at one of the local colleges. I want to eventually get a master's degree anyway. I think I will like the lower grades though. Right now I am thinking I'd like to teach first or second grade.

Ummm, what are you, Jay?

Well, I used to be a student...but that was back before the boys. Actually, I had the boys so young that I hadn't even really figured out if that is what I wanted to really do. I have a double masters in American Lit. and in Ecology (two useless degrees...NOBODY hires someone in those fields without a PHD...okay, they do, I am stretching the truth a bit...but all of the "fun things" I would want to do (teach at a college (in either the Lit or Bio fields, run my own ecology study, etc) take a a bit more education then I currently have. However, I am happy as a clam being with my boys! They are my full time job now.
