Morning everyone!

I've spent the last 4 days cleaning out my flooded basement.

Hopefully the president will declare our area a disaster area, so I can get some tax breaks. Luckily we were one of the very few who had added a rider to our insurance to cover for flood and sewer backup. We're even luckier because i don't think we will have to make a claim. We have crappy carpet and hand me down furniture down there unlike our best friends who have like $15K worth of stuff.

A couple of streets over got hit way worse. We had some raw sewage a few weeks ago and the city came and fixed it and cleaned things, which saved our butts.

So tired!!

DH is interviewing for a teaching postion right now!

He didn't get the one he interviewed for a couple of weeks ago though. Cross fingers!! We need it!
