Jiffy Lube! Not going to touch that with a 10 foot pole.

I will politely decline from commenting on this post as I am trying to keep from getting any points...

Yes, tasteful, manly Hula girls rock my socks. A coconut mansiere would be even better.

Does anyone grow coconuts that big?

ABSOLUTELY!!!! I did get my awesome secret PM!!! Can I just say that was so WICKED COOL!!!! :thumbsup2 And I am also keeping my new TAG!!!! Did you see Robbie's tag??? Robbie came over to the thread and I posted on that thread that Rob was IN DA HOUSE and the TF added that to his tag!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hey Babe, I do not see you much on FG's!

I did see that - I also like the add-on to your tag!

I'm sorry, I miss Cheryl and Keith, but I don't feel at home over there so much anymore. Things changed when we went through all the private board changes.

What do y'all consider to be a "scone"?
In Utah (and California) a scone is a fried bread dough served hot with butter, honey and maybe powdered sugar, often with a side of hot cocoa. I've had what I'd call a "biscuit" that was called a scone (at tea at the GF). Cultural, regional, societal differences fascinate me.
The only scones I've ever had were what I'd call a "rock hard biscuit". :scared:

Hola Kar! Did you get your secret PM from the TF? I voted to keep mine.

I still have not gotten a TF PM. I figure it must be for those folks who already had tags that were displaced when they got the New Rules scrolling one. As a TF virgin until this past week, I had nothing to displace.

uhhh. No words can I say here without being banned for life, so I will express myself with a series of DIS-approved smilies:

popcorn:: :rolleyes1 :cool2: :upsidedow :scared: and especially, :rotfl2:

That's probably true - I said that I was fine with losing my old tags - after all the three tags all came from threads that have now been deleted...:rolleyes1

So tell me Rob - did you get excited when you realized you were a TF "virgin"?;)

Panera's is great, they have cinnamon crunch bagels with warm crispy cinnamon on top, they are awesome. The scones are more like biscuits, but the orange and the cinnamon chip ones are yummy. They had the BEST corn chowder over the summer, which I usually had for lunch with their summer salad which had mandarin oranges, blueberries, and pineapple on it and a lovely poppyseed dressing. And their chai is nice and smooth without the black peppery taste that Starbucks has...

I would just like to say, I am so looking forward to this week being over! Starting Saturday, we had the going away party for my cousin, then Sunday, my sister was out of town for work which means I end up being the church pianist for her church. Sunday evening I had to be at our church for rehearsals for Christmas @ 5:15. Monday was my birthday, last night was parent teacher conferences and first evening time of the book fair, tonight is kids choir and church group for the girls, tomorrow night more book fair. Friday night Meagan has a friend coming to spend the night and Catie is going to stay with a friend. Saturday I got conned into hosting a PartyLite candle party, and Sunday it starts all back over again! At least next week we lose the book fair and no more party, so it will be feeling much less busy!

I know what you mean by crazy weeks! My elementary school kids had crazy hair day yesterday and I had to go all the way to the storage room in the basement to find a rainbow hair clown wig for the youngest one to wear. Pretty much wore me out for the week! :upsidedow

Coffee is icky to me... you are welcome to it. Chai is to me what coffee is to you, though..

We pillage, we plunder, we rifle and loot..
Drink UP me hearties, yo ho...."

Speaking of pillaging, plundering and looting - has anyone seen GP recently? :rotfl:
