I totally agree it's the kiddo's responsibility to grab all school gear. I have my hands full in the morning with daycare, breakfast, DISsing, and the occasional brushing of my own teeth before noon. Not necessarily in that order.

Yes, definitely! In my case it is getting me ready, get both kids up and make sure I nag them into getting dressed, breakfast, feeding pets, etc to get us out the door in time to catch the bus hopefully (happens about 1/3 of the time right now, but we are working on it), then on to work for me.

I think my problem is that I am only able to chat at work most days, so hard to get my numbers up there! At least, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

So I just got a call from my sister, apparently Monday my nephew who has been feeling poorly for a few days went to the dr and the doc said it was strep, and put him on Z-pack. Yesterday by afternoon, Cod was feeling a lot better and said he thought he would be well enough to go back to school today. However at 4am he woke up itching, and we are thankful for that, cause the itching was from hives, from an allergic reaction to the zithromax. They called the dr office and were told to have him take a cold shower to reduce the itch factor, by the time he got out of the shower he was having trouble breathing so they rushed to the ER and he was on oxygen for an hour plus a shot of Epinephrine to stop the reaction (on top of the Benadryl and his regular inhaler). ACK!! Today she took him back to the dr and the smartie dr said "man, you're really pale, I guess almost DYING will do that to ya!" I am like , I mean, the guy is always a smart aleck, but that's a bit extreme!

Wednesday is only a couple hours from being over (work anyway)!!! YAY!! which means its almost Thursday, which means its almost the WEEKEND, which means its almost my birthday!

I'm thinking about a Fall trip to Omaha, Kristi. Does that scare you? (When Bonnie heard I was coming to Las Vegas, she fled the city!)

I would probably only put the chance at about 20% right now because I'm looking at Columbia, MO, St. Louis, and Branson as well. IF (a big IF) our high school football team makes it to the state championship, we'll probably be going to St. Louis (where that game is being played).

You should, you should come to Omaha/CB area!!! I was actually in KC this past summer, but I didn't really know who you were then, or I would have tried to set up a meet! Did the whole WOF/OOF thing with the family in June...

Hmmm, well, if you REALLY knew who I was, I'm not so sure about that.

I worked at WOF for six years, and had season passports to WOF the 7 years before that, so I know both those parks pretty well.
