Major debate on the overprotective parents thread. Debating co-sleeping with kids. Some are sleeping with their 9 yr. olds.

I kept my girls in a co-sleeper bed beside my bed until they slept thru the night. Once they slept thru the night, I wanted them to learn good sleep habits in their own beds.

One of our very best friends and family has moved to Manassas, as the Worship Minister at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Centerville Rd. Do you know where that is? Well we (my family and about 4 other families from our church) want to come up and surprise them next weekend. We have 1/2 day of school on Thurs., no school on Fri or Mon. so all the kids have a very long weekend. We all miss them so much, since they left our church, its just not the same without them. Anyway, we are looking for a nice hotel to stay at that is near by. We don't want to ask them, as that would give away our surprise, we want to just show up at Worship Service on Sunday. Can you help me?
