AND they just came home. My bro (Colonel) was there for almost 2 years and Ryan was there one year and returned HOME Nov 1st......

They're going....I'm taking 4 this semester, and it looks like it's going to be tons of work. PLUS, I have to be in a middle school this semester.

Hmmm hmmmm...YES MA'AM...I would LOVE to talk about them (any time...all of the time...never stopping... ).

Our family vacation will take place in September at the AKL. We are staying in the Kilamanjaro Club (the concierge level) and we are excited to be able to do the special concierge only sunrise and sunset safaris. We are big AKL fans. I am a bit worried about the construction I have heard about but I know that no matter what Disney will take good care of us (and it won't ruin anything) or even if it does, I am "firm" enough to get us moved somewhere that it won't be an issue at all.

We are so excited about getting back to AKL and plan on spending our entire first day there...just doing resort stuff. The kids have tons of activities there all day long and the pool....ahhh...hopefully they are still doing late nights at MK on Sundays and then we can head over there as most others head home and enjoy MK our first night.

Dh will be with us for this vacation.

Yes, I'll have kids at the middle school level, too.

My advisor told me that it would be TONS of work taking the 4 classes that I'm in right now, but I want to get DONE. Most people are only taking 2. BUT, I'm not working, so I can devote more time to it. I didn't have any problems taking more than a full load as an undergrad, but there's so much more work at this level.

Ahhh...Jay, we stayed at AKL last Feb '06 and loved it so much. It was just DH and I. We had an awesome room on the Savannah and was up watching the animals early and they all came over to our room and standing on the balcony was awesome. Thank GOD that AKL has that cheat sheet in the room because I could not NAME half those animals.

CONCIERGE LEVEL...now isn't that SPECIAL.....

We stayed at CL once at WL and it was a dream come true. It was a random UPGRADE at XMAS (2001) a few years ago, can you imagine even at Xmas. I think the Lodge was aware my DH had survived the WTC bombing and did all they could to make our family so happy in this MAGICAL WORLD of DISNEY...you know.

The second ticker is for a mom/boys trip!! I am so excited about that too! We are going to stay at the Contemporary (my very favorite place on earth). We are again going to get spoiled with the concierge service. Dh wants us on a floor that is not "public access" if he is not there with us. Whatever his reasons are I will gladly enjoy the pampering! This trip will be a total surprise for our boys. They will know when we wake them up to drive under the signs (or if they wake up themselves and figure it out shortly before that).

I am so excited to see all of the Christmas decorations. Once again though, I am a bit worried about construction.

Trisha, that is so awesome that you can devote all your time to classes. It might seem like allot of work combined with the babe and the house, but you come across to me as someone that so has their act together and you can do multiple tasks and do them all quite well!!

I am very proud of you and we so need more S.Ed. Teachers out there for all our kids that need it so badly.

I didn't know that about your DH, Kar!

Yes, a very very sad time. But he survived. What was sad was all the fabulous Engineers that he worked with daily at the Port Authority of NY/NJ that lost their lives that day.

DH did NOT smile from 9/11 until seriously we got to the World. Which was Xmas week.

It was the magic of Disney that brought DH back to us!!!
