Yes, I'll have kids at the middle school level, too.

My advisor told me that it would be TONS of work taking the 4 classes that I'm in right now, but I want to get DONE. Most people are only taking 2. BUT, I'm not working, so I can devote more time to it. I didn't have any problems taking more than a full load as an undergrad, but there's so much more work at this level.

I so understand! Hugs to you! Just imagine the benefits when you are done! WAY TO GO though...awesome that you can be so dedicated and work so hard to get it done double time!

Trisha, that is so awesome that you can devote all your time to classes. It might seem like allot of work combined with the babe and the house, but you come across to me as someone that so has there act together and you can do multiple tasks and do them all quite well!!

I am very proud of you and we so need more S.Ed. Teachers out there for all our kids that need it so badly.

Hey...I told Nic and Pixie this earlier....I have to have a biopsy done on my face on the 23rd and my Dad told me yesterday that they are testing him for prostate cancer on that day, too. His brother passed away from it a couple of months ago, and my Dad had some tests that came back pointing to high levels (of something I can't remember). They think that there's a good chance he may have something going on, so they're doing further testing. Please keep him in your thoughts.

Yes, a very very sad time. But he survived. What was sad was all the fabulous Engineers that he worked with daily at the Port Authority of NY/NJ that lost their lives that day.

DH did NOT smile from 9/11 until seriously we got to the World. Which was Xmas week.

It was the magic of Disney that brought DH back to us!!!

Wow, Kar...I can't even begin to imagine what he went through. I'm sure it has been a life altering experience.

Ahhh...Jay, we stayed at AKL last Feb '06 and loved it so much. It was just DH and I. We had an awesome room on the Savannah and was up watching the animals early and they all came over to our room and standing on the balcony was awesome. Thank GOD that AKL has that cheat sheet in the room because I could not NAME half those animals.

CONCIERGE LEVEL...now isn't that SPECIAL.....

We stayed at CL once at WL and it was a dream come true. It was a random UPGRADE at XMAS (2001) a few years ago, can you imagine even at Xmas. I think the Lodge was aware my DH had survived the WTC bombing and did all they could to make our family so happy in this MAGICAL WORLD of DISNEY...you know.

Oh Kar....I didn't know that about your hubby.

But I am so happy you guys got the super awesome surprise! Did you love it? I need to hear all about it sometime if you are willing. Heck, I need to hear all about everything you do...you have such an interesting life!!

They are going to do a biopsy on my Dad the same day....what's up with that!!!! We live 5 doors down from my parents and are VERY close. My Dad is so funny and wonderful....he just told me matter of factly. I'm not going to freak out about it until we get some definite answers.

OOO, Jay, I saw the TOURS early in the morning from the CL at AKL. They also had special events going on in AKL for the children of the families that stayed in CL. You need to find all that out and take advantage of it....I had a friend that I meet on the Disney Cruise that stayed at CL at AKL and she tried to reserve like the Tour on the Savannah and got booked out...make sure you call early enough to get your name on every single list for the CL level of activities.
