should I ask about the pickles? Or is that asking for a new round of silliness?

Hmmmm..well.... it all started with a "Hide the pickle" thread at Christmas...it is a german tradition to hide a pickle on the tree and if you find it you get an extra gift.

Well, you can imagine where that might have gone.

I was harrassing Nic ( she is usually my co-hort in crime) and I got the reputation of really liking pickles-- hence the name.

If you were to look up silliness in the Webster's Dictionary...there we will be all the MAD HATTERS.......... ............. (and we would be silly)

I have a pickle ornament, which, yes, I DO hide in the tree, but the kids never remember to look for it....!

My hubby is german (and scottish), and his family told me about the tradition!

&, they just finished the pre-game entertainment and man o man that OHIO STATE MARCHING BAND is amazing.......they wrote out in cursive OHIO!!!

Then the Marine's sang the National Anthem....
