After MIL passed last year I was ready cuz I didn't want anyone else to miss out, but now I'm back to being scared. And we're really happy how we are now. All my reasons are selfish.

Ahhh..what is the topic, BABIES....ahh, Nic, let me tell you I was 28yo before having #1, and freaked so much about it....but sheesh, as soon as that precious little one makes his or her appearance....IT IS ALL GOOD, everything just falls into place and all comes so naturally to YOU!!!!!

We had two trips planned........one to VA and DC for Spring Break and one to WDW in Fall.

Now it looks like we may not make either because my car needs a new engine. 4000 bucks. Give or take.

Dh said we can't make both the trips. I asked if we could use the rest of the tax return after the car is fixed for the DC trip, and if I could teach summer school for WDW.......he said we'll "have to talk about it". You guys know what that means.

I know what you mean...we are happy just us. I think about being preganant and then being up all night with a crying baby and having to work....and all the money and time ...but I know it will totally be worth it. My MIL and my mother are always telling me it is the best thing they ever did and they loved the time they had with us as kids.

Well I just opened up a small little individual life saver and I did not notice that when I grabbed it, the life saver was in pieces and when I opened up the cellophane...well I now have one million pieces of ONE life saver all over my keyboard......annoying.

And I was not a teen that did allot of babysitting, so I was a real novice at this baby stuff BUT believe you me, it all comes together nicely when that little package arrives in your arms. I read everything I could, spoke to everyone I could, and now for you younger ladies (unlike my time)...there are NEW MOM message boards out there as well as on the DIS. INFO AT YOUR FINGER TIPS.

I have teens, so I can't really encourage anyone to have children. They are evil I tell ya! And expensive.

Mine are 24&21!!! Been through the Teens, things calm down after the teen stages are past....I promise you, babe!!!

Well I'm a children's librarian and DH is a teacher so we really like kids

I know he'll be perfect at it, but discipline is going to be really hard for me. i have a short temper and no patience!
