Hey, Walter!! How are you, my friend?


Okay, everyone....DH just called and said he can't catch his usual train tonight because he just witnessed someone get hit by a bus. He has to talk to the police and stuff. Since I have to pick him up, that will mean I won't get home until later too. Which means I might be late for the Chatter party tonight.

Paige, did you hear back from Minty about whether she'll be attending?

We have had a couple animal deaths....first it was Bob the Hermit Crab (that was in Sept)and then Pickles. We buried Bob "at sea" in the Ohio river. His shell was painted with SpongeBob on it and was all yellow, so we threw yellow flowers in the river with him. DS just sat on the dock and sobbed....he finally said "Thanks for living with me, Bob".

I told Drew that Pickles went to heaven to be Pearl's pet (she was our 96 year old next door neighbor who died). Once again...sobbing...be he was OK with him keeping her company.

Ahhh what a sweet little kid And I love you pet names.

So...anyhoo...a funny thing happened today!!!

So we are waiting........

UGH me too. Seems like forever and it was just 3 months ago. And it will be almost a year before we go again if even then....

It's only been 1 month for me.

There is a good chance that I may go next year, but it will be with my mom. I don't know how that will be.

Plus I had an unusual encounter with a high school classmate, who I hardly talked to back in the day.

Right!!! Sorry......okay well, today I waited patiently on my front step for the package delivery guy to come. I was sooooo excited I wanted to burst!!! "I'm getting a present today"...sort of made it into a catchy little tune as I was waiting for soooooo long!!! I KNOW...I amuse myself too!!!

Anyhoo....here comes the 'funny' part: IT NEVER CAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right!!! I HAVE NO MAD HATTER CHATTER GIFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whatever will I do?????

Sounds like there is a story there.....

More like a little scary encounter. I hardly talked to him when we were in high school. So as I was walking to my meeting at school, he follows me into the elevator. At first, I thought he just wanted to see how I've been all these years. Then he starts talking about some sensitive stuff (which I can't get into here), and asks me for my phone number. I said that I would give him my e-mail address instead, as I am better reached that way and I just don't have casual conversations on the phone anymore outside of my family.

But he was insistent for my phone #, so I gave him my work #. When someone is pushing for my phone # and wants to take me to dinner to discuss business, and ignored the fact that I was running late, even though I told him a bunch of times that... something tells me that he is up to something shady.

He called me at work a couple times, and wants to talk about stuff, but I insisted on telling me over the phone. I had no idea what he was talking about, and asked him to explain more, he just hung up.
