I am dreading my DS growing up. I don't know if I can handle the 'tude. He'll be 4 on Saturday.

I know....but he's gonna be our one and only, so I just get sad as each year ticks by. I'll never have a 3 year old again. He did tell me tonight that he'll always be my baby.

Awwww....there soooo cute when they're little!!!! The only thing that saves my sanitly is knowing that, because of his older brother, I know this too shall pass!!!

The first time we stayed IN Disney ('04) on our very first night at the Boardwalk he had me in tears!!! I had been soooo looking forward to that stupid first night for such a long time!! Anyhoo....needless to say, once I got myself together again he DID NOT give me any 'tude for the rest of the trip!!!

I'll tell you...in Sept. I had one of those 'secret mommy moments'....the 3 of us were walking around Epcot and Brett, my BABY, who is 10, actually grabbed my hand !!! All I could think was..'this is probably the VERY LAST TIME one of my children will be holding my hand in public'. Heartbreaking sometimes.

Whatever it takes, I say!!!! I will NEVER take crap from my boys and they KNOW it!!! They're actually pretty good, never really given us much grief so maybe it works to be sort of strict!!

I'm not strict at all (it's going to come back to bite me in the butt), but DS knows I mean business when I get a certain look on my face. He doesn't listen to DH because DH argues with him.

On the other hand, after almost 22 years of 'mothering' I'm kind of looking forward to my new found independence!!!
