The jury is still out Karen...last night was the first night with it at home. I guess it will take about 30 days or so to really make a difference...

It's cold here, too. It was 70* when I took Drew to preschool. It was in the low 30's when we got in the car after visiting MIL. Brrrrrrrr. It's supposed to snow on Monday.

I love the snow as long as I don't have anywhere to go or we're on the ski slopes. Otherwise it's a PITA! ;)

Two more assignments left.....two more assignments left.

I just submitted a paper, so I have two tiny assignments left to do and then I'm DONE for the semester!!! I will have them done on Sunday. YAY!

We set a record for warmth today for 12/1...yup it has been so unseasonably mild BUT tomorrow colder and snow by Monday.

I loved snow as a kid and hate it as an adult.

I am in panic mode about my flight and snow....please pray no snow for me, just until I get out of here on 12/23 and then you can have all the snow you want for XMAS.

YEAH, TRISHA....you sound like my DS'...oldest one is getting his Masters and it seems like sooo many papers and never enough time.

Scotland DS has Chinese Art presentation all day Monday and Italian Art presentation all day Wednesday....panic mode for them.

I definitely hope it doesn't snow for your flight!

My friend and I were flying to Florida in March (don't remember what year...I think it was 98). Anyway, she had never flown and was freaking out. We were in a commuter jet for the first leg of the trip. There was snow on the ground, and it was VERY cold that day. Anyway, we're sitting in the plane and they start to de-ice it. It looks like soap suds to me. My friend says, "Hmmmmmmm, I can't believe they're washing the plane for us!!!". I started rolling. I had to tell her what it was. She almost sat on my lap for the first 30 minutes of the flight. Needless to say, we got drunk before we got back onto the connecting flight (which was delayed because of mechanical problems :rotfl: ).

That happened once with us flying to WDW in Jan...yup, we are sitting at the Gate watching as they are de-icing the plane and then the thought of having to get on it........ahhh.......but we were fine!!!
