Hi there Paige. We got your nasty weather last night. It's so cold here this morning. That's when it's nice that the coffee is hot.

It rained all evening into last night. Today just cold.

How are you feeling Paige? Sleeping better I hope.

I got 4 hours. I sure would like to go back to bed. No such luck. Everyone else's schools are delayed, except ours.

I'm good and it's Friday . Did you get snow yesterday? We never have and never will have a snow day around here.

 

[paigevz]

Yes, we did have snow. It barely dusted the ground, but the kids loved it anyway. We don't get much snow, we get ice. But, our school district is notorious for not closing or delaying when others do. They don't build bad weather days into the calendar. So if we have one, we have to make it up on ascheduled vacation day.

 

[Grumpy's Wife]

That's too bad about not having bad weather days in your calendar. We always have hurricane days marked off. If (cross your fingers) we don't use them the kids get out a few days early at the end of the year.

How's DS feeling this morning?

He didn't cough as much last night.......just a bit. He hates getting up in the mornings.

My fingers are crossed.

Any big plans this weekend? How's your house decorating coming?

 

[paigevz]

I told the kids we could do it Saturday. We need to clean first. I have another math conference Saturday morning.

I didn't pay my bills yet this month. I need to do that today. I also need to finish testing all the children in reading, because that has to be reported Tuesday. Progress report grades are due as well, so that has to be done by Monday morning. I have a lot to do for the next few days.

I don't think we have anything going on Saturday. Maybe a little shopping with the teenager. Her birthday and DS's are also in December. All she ever wants is clothes and don't even think about trying to pick something out for her.
Sunday we have a party to go to for the Saints game.


I finally fished fighting with the outside lights. I kept blowing a fuse. I think I had too many strings together.

My DH usually does that as well. At our old house at least. With the new house we have all these pitches on the roof. This year we decided to just do the gardens. I have five. So I bought all those net lights this year. So easy to just drape it over. Now we're all light and bright outside.

I have to take DD to the bus. BRB.
