Well, we took the kids to our old college town. Took them to see the campus, Eskimo Joe's, the football stadium, drove past some of the places we lived...........and we thought it would be nice to get tickets for one of the football games there and take the kids next year. So that's what we told mom we were going to do instead of the party next year.

I'm just realizing it's almost nine and DS still needs a bath. School night and all. I have to go play mommy now. Have a good night ladies.

Wanna hear about nice family communications?

Long story short:

All the family my DH has left is a half sister in Ocala, FL. a grandfather out in AZ whom he didn't get to see since he was 5 because MIL had a falling out with the grandfather. Everyone else has passed away.

DH was supposed to call his sister to let her know we're going to WDW, and that we wanted to meet with her since she lives an hour away.

DH kept procrastinating. You know, life is crazy, you intend to do something but never get around to it.

DH finally calls her Thanksgiving Day. Phone is disconnected with no forwarding info. He calls her workplace and we are told she doesn't work there.

We googled her with nothing but the old phone and address.

Ok, so has she fallen off the earth?

It's very weird.

We're hoping that maybe she just moved over Thanksgiving, and will contact us with new number/address when she gets settled.

Other than that, I can't even fathom what was going on.
