Hey Scrappy could you contact the old neighbors??? Maybe they know?

We don't even know the neighbors names or anything.

I'm thinking of writing a note and sending it to the address we have for her. Of course it is snail mail.

They used to have email, but she quit using the internet. She always was working nearly everyday. Has 4 kids and a lousy DH.

I just saw your post about your half sister.

DH was 5 when his half sister was born. She was his little baby sis. They used to be close before he moved out at 18.
Obviously they have busy lives now, and don't talk very often.

But still, she had alot of respect and admiration for her big brother. I can't imagine her withholding important info like this.

But then again, last week I called my own mother, whom I talk to EVERYDAY. I got the same disconnect recording. Finally got through to her on the cell.
"Oh yeah! We changed our phone number! I just forgot to tell you. Besides the phone company said they would have the recording give the new number."

That could be the case with SIL. Who knows.

My trouble is that I don't do it often enough anymore to remember where I put my last page and pictures I left off at.

Well, I didn't even know I had one until 17, and then saw her that summer for the first time. She didn't get on well with our father, and he'd never even mentioned her name...........nor had my half brother, who I DID grow up knowing. They are way older than me..........they have children my age. I guess she still didn't want contact with dad, as she never told him where she went when they moved...........although she seemed fine when we were there.

I think the snail mail thing will work.............at the least it should be forwarded to her........
