The Luck Of VMK: Quests!

Feeling lucky? Whether you are or not doesn't really matter, because you will not be needing it as you find Lucky Clovers all over VMK in two fun Quests! Yes, you heard me correctly- Two Quests!

Both Quests will take you on adventure all over VMK as you search for Lucky Clovers. You may be wondering if the Quests are the same- or similar at that? I am happy to say that they are not the same and to be exact one is known as "Difficult" and the other is "Regular".

Try your luck at these quests for some cool (or not) so cool prizes. Pick the right Quest for you or try both! ​

The Quest located on the left of the room is the Difficult Quest, and the Quest located on the right side of the room is known as the Regular Quest. Currently the Difficult Quest is locked and down while its being fixed (as soon in the image- check back soon for more information when its opened).

The Difficult Quest in my opinion is for those who know their stuff about VMK and have observed the VMK Public Room. Why? Because the only clue you will receive is an Image of something within a VMK Public Room and from there you will need to locate that room where you'll find the Lucky Clovers you need. [Currently CLOSED]

The Regular Quest is basically for everyone- new or old players will travel around VMK collecting Lucky Clovers on the way. In this Quest the only thing you are playing against is the Timer. Each task will tell you the exact location in VMK to find the Lucky Clovers. Depending on your Quest Time will determine the prize you receive most of the time. [Currently OPEN]

You may be wondering what the prizes for each Quest are and I will tell you that they do change frequently from day to day; week to week; etc. The prizes though will be GREEN. They may not be the best prizes all the time, but remember to play the Quest(s) for fun and you never know what may happen

Thanks for everyone who stopped by yesterday. From the turnout yesterday I will be adding more prize slots, which means more prizes for everyone.

The Difficult Quest is still down and being fixed at the moment- should open again early next week.

Other news: The Regular Quest may be open today for a little bit (depending on my daily schedule), so stop by for some fun. Anyone is welcome

Update Saturday, February 23, 2008:

The Luck Of VMK: Quests! will not be opening anytime today as the owner, me, has other plans and activities to attend to. Hopefully I will see many of you when the room is open next

Also- the Difficult Quest is still in the middle of being fixed. Look for it to be open early next week.

Update Sunday, February 24, 2008:

The room is currently open at this time. The Luck Of VMK: Quests - Regular will be running for the remainder of the VMK day. Come on out and try your luck at finding the Lucky Clovers all over VMK

The Luck Of VMK: Quests - Difficult is still being fixed, but I am happy to say that it should be open tomorrow: Monday, February 25, 2008 is all goes well tonight and I get the problem figured out.

I am aware, but a four leaf clover would not accomodate with the atmosphere of the room and the other decorations- also did not look the best with crates. If I find a better way to do it then I will change the room. Have any suggestions that will accomodate the room then send them to me

Yes and to top off my luck I am currently having internet problems due to the winter weather. So, the room has been open and closed non-stop today. I am updating some things that should help and I should have the room back up in an hour or so. I am lucky enough to get a post typed and submitted.

Update Monday, February 25, 2008:

ROAR! Another night of bad luck. More winter weather is on it's way and I am still having trouble staying connected with VMK. I am glad to say both Quests will be open is I can get on long enough. I may be having a good friend get on my account and at least get things around. Hopefully I will see many Quest goers tonight

Update Wednesday, February 27, 2008:

Finally. Luck at last!
I have both Quests finally up and running (hopefully properly), and will be open for the majority of the VMK day. There were also a few changes made to the Quests with the addition and removal of some tasks to each.

On another note I am going to please a DIS VMKer by saying that there is actually a 4-Leaf Clover in my room now So, there you have it, mtlhddoc2, I have added another leaf to the clover. Now there is a 4-leaf clover and I call it the "crazy clover" as it literally looks odd and crazy.

New image will be posted soon in the original post as well as an update to some things. Hope to see everyone stop by

Nightly Update: Wednesday, February 27, 2008:

The room was a big hit and sucess thoughout the day and now access to each Quests "corridor" will be locked because both Quest timers have hit 30 minutes left (as it takes that long on average per player for each Quest). I am not going to have players start a Quest and not be able to finish it, so that's why they are currently locked. When the Quest timers run out I will refresh them with prizes and the room along with the Quests will re-open
