Hey guys. I know I've been MIA for awhile. I can't seem to focus on anything for very long.

We finally got the EEG scheduled for DS6. That test is tomorrow. We are already in prep mode. NO sugar or caffeine today or tomorrow until the test is done. I also have to make sure he has no more than 5 hours of sleep tonight. Woo friggin Hoo. I took him to the store to rent a couple of movies. I'm trying to make it this big cool exciting thing. He gets to stay up late! Instead of, oh crap... the doctor says you can't go to sleep. We'll see how that works out.

Of course, all of this means that we're lowering his seizure threshold. That's the point. They want to map his brain patterns when they are impaired to see if they can find where the problem is. I hope they learn something. I am petrified that he will have a seizure before we can get him to the doctor's office. I hope not.

Anyway, I hope everyone is having a good day. I see a couple of people are looking for gift suggestions. One thing I have enjoyed doing for my SIL and her husband. They have moved from town to town and I do a google search on their old home locations for gift baskets. Like, they used to live in Cincinnati. I googled that and wound up sending them a basket when they lived in Orlando that had Montgomery Inn BBQ sauce and Skyline Chili. They loved it. It's a thought if the people you are buying for used to call somewhere else "home"... or if you want to send them a taste of where you live now.

Good luck with everything! I know (from personal experience) that what you are going through is EXTREMEMLY stressful. I wish you strength to get through it, but know that you (and DS) can do it. Hugs to you and your family. I will be thinking of you and praying that all goes well!

 Good Luck tomorrow! I hope that the doctors are able to figure out the problem. Good Luck with the staying up tonight too. I dont have any suggestions on how to help keep him up, but it seems like you're taking it on with a good approach, and hopefully he'll enjoy it.

Well the whole IHOP thing was Tink's fault ;)
Do not blame Tink. She is the sweet one of the group. She has the tag to prove it.:rotfl2:
 Don't blame me for not getting along with my asst. manager/backstabbing friend
You go girl.

Listening to DD have a melt-down at 11:15pm over the phone trying to talk to Tink.:headache: Is it bad that this makes me want to stay in TX?
Yes I think Pie would tell you that.

Morning losers. I up (not really awake though, waiting on coffee) getting ready to take #1DS to school and then come home and wait around all morning for the maintience guy to come change some light bulbs. They are changing out 5 in each house with those energy efficient bulbs  Why don't they just give me the bulbs and I'll change them out.
It is a goverment job. Need I say more

Good luck tonight and tomorrow RV. I hope the doctors can figure some more things out. I will be thinking about you and your family.

Thanks guys.

It doesn't matter when the 5 hours are, so we'll be staying up as late as he possibly can and then sleeping for 5 hours after he drops.

The test isn't until 1pm tomorrow and we have to drive for over an hour to get to the doctor's office. I'm planning to stop mid-trip for lunch. I hope that will keep him from falling asleep on the drive.

I hope that they learn something from all this. His MRI came back normal, which is a good thing, but it still leaves that question of "why" hanging out there.

You and your little guy are in my prayers:hug:

I hope they get ot the bottom of it.

We are off to baseball game for DS10. Later taters

Tricia...I'll be thinking of you

So guess what I just did for the first time in about 7 years????

Totally indulged myself and got a cut and color at a REAL salon (not a hair cuttery or quick cuts place)

My hair looks GREAT!

New hair for the new job. It will probably be easier to fix too.

I ordered a swimsuit. Thanks Denise for the free shipping.

:grouphug: Good luck with staying up tonight. Have YOU got coffee at least?

I don't drink coffee, but I've got plenty of coke in the fridge. I've also got snacks. I'm trying to think of it like New Years Eve... without the booze or the party or the fun... ;)

New hair!

Are you gonna post a pic on the other side? And did your DH notice? (Mine NEVER does:sad2: ) But that's ok--I didn't notice that he wore black pants this morning with brown shoes and a brown belt!:lmao: He called me this morning and asked if I'd bring the black ones when I went grocery shopping, so of course I laughed at him!

See, this is where my DH is always the exception to the rule. He ALWAYS notices and ALWAYS has to express his opinion (usually negative). There ARE pluses to the hubbys that pay no attention, trust me!

I notice if Tink brushes her's differently  She wants to cut DD's and I said nooooooooo :sad1: Sorry I have a long hair thing must be because mine has to be so short ;)

When I retire I will have to move mine out of the way to sit on the potty :lmao:
