He's a boy...if he's anything like mine, I bet he could fill up his own shoe and not notice...

Sorry, I forgot...boys are just the mini-versions of husbands...When I complain about having to clean the pee under the toilet seat, DH asks how I know that it wasn't from me. (??)Umm, okay, if I were peeing straight backwards, I think I would recognize that as a problem and go see a dr. Duh!

He actually has TWO projects to work on over the next two weeks. The animal one is a poster with required information that she sent home. He wants to do a Barracuda..:confused3 So I think we are off the the library today. The other thing is a diorama of a scene from a book they read in class, "Hatchet"..:confused3 :confused3 I have no idea about that book, so no help from winner mom on that..no clue about it-he is on his own.

I saw the thread the Pie started. I posted...nothing really antaganistic..although a couple of others seemed to be kinda snarky. Could it be that we are not alone with our contempt/love of pie?

I had to read Hatchet in middle school. That book was awful. The movie was worse. Hopefully your son can get through it. If you guys do end up needing help, let me know, I don't mind!

Haven't had time to read today..
But does anyone want a 4yo boy? He is driving me crazy!!! His latest- he went to go to the bathroom but "forgot" to lift the darn lid! agghhh. How do you forget that????:headache: :headache:

I'll trade you a 3 month old poop eating puppy! My brothers 19 years old and still pees all over the bathroom. I've never seen anything like it in my life. I think my mom buys bleach in industrial sizes now.

How's everyone else doin tonight? I haven't stopped since 8 am...isnt that fun. Anyone feel like helping me pick out some classes to take next year? I have a lot of choices and cant pick. I've gotta write a short, paper and then i'll be back.

Hope everyons havin a good evening!

Like we all don't do that from time to time :rotfl:
That is a boy/man thing:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

DS3 just came in the office and told me to kick DS8's *** because he won't share the Oreo's.

I gotta break out the soap!!

Aren't you worried about..........

Thanks for the offer, I may take you up on it..DS just told me the jist of the story, it's hard to believe what they have 4th graders reading... He said there was also a movie they watched...:scared:

I guess it's not that bad, I don't remember when I read Lord of the Flies, but it stays with me to this day..

So BOTH of my kids are in punishment tonight...I ended up with bad reports on both of them AGAIN! :sad2:

You do realize that your children's behavior is a direct reflection on your parenting ability, don't you?!

Just kidding!!!!! Sorry to hear that, though. It is frustrating.

You mean there are times that he actually remembers???? :confused3 I think the goal for my boys is to see how much they can get ON the seat! (Nothing like going to the bathroom in the dark in the middle of the night & getting a 3:00 a.m. surprise! :lmao: That'll wake ya!)

Off to cook dinner and quickly clean before I get in trouble. I will be back later.

Traitor! :rotfl:

The three and a half year old is having adjustment issues at his new daycare...he's hitting the other kids.

The five and a half year old doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut in school.

Your son sounds like my son did. Even last year in pre-school, he was always getting into trouble. I was scared to death about how he was going to act this year in Kindergarten, but he has done a complete 180. When I went to parent-teacher conference, they looked at me like I was crazy when I asked them about his behavior. I thought they were lying to me, and if it weren't for my aunt teaching there, I may still not believe it.

What I'm trying to say is, kids will change. You said the key word - adjustment. Most kids your son's age have difficult times adjusting to new environments and new people. Just give him some time, let him get used to everything and everyone, and I'll bet you'll see a change!

And as for your daughter - well, if she's anything like her mother . . .:rotfl:

No you are correct, it was IAHD!!.. :rotfl: I knew it was a loser that said it, just had the wrong one!! Sorry, didn't mean to freak you out..

If it makes you feel any better, I asked IAHD on another thread how her Mexican laborers were doing.. I don't know what it is about your screen names that gets me confused...easily done!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I didn't realize it was a Loser that said that!!
Just remember Shore = Seafood at the Shore!! :beach:
IAHD = crazy loon that cooks 7 days a week. :worship:

Yup, cooked again tonight.....BBQ bone-in ribs, rice, corn, fresh italian bread (that was store bought). Baking B-day cake as we speak!

Hey Losers,
I went back to work today. I have three bosses. 2 I love. I not so much. He thinks he is smarter than everyone and knows it all. Kinda the male pie.:rotfl2: But today he told me he knows what a butthead he has been and he is sorry. I told him I donot care and I will not be helping him in any way. I will do my job for him that I need to do and the rest he is on his own. While I was out I made sure the accounting department did a full invertoy hit on him. He had no idea what he needed to do to be ready for them. Lets say it did not go wel for him. Karma is sweet.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sounds like you had a good 1st day back! Take it easy though, your body has been through alot!

Shay, I hope everything went well for you on your first day back.

Since it is now Monday evening, and my peeps get paid on Tuesday, that means I must be doing payroll ASAP.

I doubt anyone wants to work for free.

I'm guessing my checks in the mail because I don't STOP working :headache:

DS3 just came in the office and told me to kick DS8's *** because he won't share the Oreo's.

I gotta break out the soap!!

Palmolive is my discipliner  Liquid definitely works better than a bar and oh the looks I've gotten from the kids when I've done it. They've been mouthing off and it's one of those things that happens so quickly they go  :scared1: :scared: in about 2 seconds when they realize what just happened.

You sound like my DD. She honestly asked me if she could have a fridge in her room. Ummmmm-no!:rotfl:

What's for dinner tonight everyone? I'm cooking steaks on the grill! Let me rephrase that--DH will be grilling the steaks. I will make a salad and veggie.

See post above....Tomorrow is pizza night though. DD's birthday and she picked Papa Gino's for her birthday dinner with root beer floats. So all I have to make are the root beer floats

:lmao: Use the liquid kind if you want max effect. Of course, it's hard to enforce your point if you are laughing at the deed while doling out the punishment:laughing:

So true, so true!

Everyone should have at least 2 boys if not more....just wait till they just do it without asking for your help :lmao: (Fight that is)

Trust me, having 1 girl/1 boy has not diminished the physical fighting :headache:

So BOTH of my kids are in punishment tonight...I ended up with bad reports on both of them AGAIN! :sad2:

Details.....

The three and a half year old is having adjustment issues at his new daycare...he's hitting the other kids.

The five and a half year old doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut in school.

Sounds like the 3 1/2 yo isn't having issues, it sounds like everyone else at the daycare are :rolleyes1

I have a chatterbox too  She doesn't know what the meaning of "quiet" is. For fun DH & I offer her quarters to see how long she can NOT talk :rolleyes1

Both the kids are now asleep...tomorrow I get to slink in and face their teachers....I just hope they don't do something like toss my son out of the daycare. I saw the other kids, they don't listen either.

Would they really do that? Surely they understand how kids are:confused3. You're gonna need a nap tomorrow for sure after handling that one.

Either that or a stiff drink....

Well if they do then tell them the same thing I told the IHOP manager in Oceanside California "I've been kicked out of better places"

Hey they tried to kick my DM out of the nursing home on her first day, no first hour. But I stood firm

We were in serious financial problems 2 years ago May and I have been working hard at getting all of it cleared up/paid off. I'm talking to the tune of about 40K including the car in debt but not the Mortgage :scared1: I pay the bills and DH is oblivious to the cost of stuff - I do 99.9% of the shopping - so he really had no clue. Alot of it was due to the fact that when we had kids 6/7 years ago I quit my major job and took a 35K a year cut. We knew we were going to do it but didn't really change our lifestyle either. So quickly and easily the bills mount up and I had to take a long hard look at the direction we were heading then. Busting our butts, DH has been getting some good OT, and I went back to couponing and stopping the "frivolous" spending we have been able to get back on track. We only have 85K left on our mortgage too so I am definitely feeling less pressure on my shoulders.
IAHD WOW that is great. I am so happy for you! We are currently working on bringing the bills down.

My mom used soap on my and my sister for punishment. I remember one time I had done something wrong (can't remember what) and decided to wash my own mouth out with soap and then I told my mom. I still remember the look on her face of trying to hold in the laughter :lmao:
I remember I got soap once too. But i never did it to myself.:rotfl:
Doesn't it splash back on him?? :confused3
Oh no.. it went all over his pants, his socks, and the floor. He was yelling "mommy" so i thought he went #2 (can we say the word?) and went in there and it was everywhere. I was not happy! So I did the logical thing & came here to vent:)
Hope everyone had a wonderful dinner at a chain restuarant.:)

OMG.... how did I get roped into this.....

I just got asked to be an assistant coach for a competition cheerleading squad ages 4-8. :headache: The reason they asked me is because the squad is brand new and they aren't paying coaches yet. So they offered the twins a spot on the squad if I'd be the assistant coach. :headache:

Why, oh, why did I agree to this?

So....does white zin have to be kept in the fridge? Cause I just went to go drink mine, and my darling suitemates took it out and didnt tell me. It was in the fridge, then out for about a week, and I just put it back in. Good, or bad?

So--are you gonna do it? Wouldn't catch me there in a million years. Of course, I know nothing about cheerleading. Are you a cheerleader or a coach already?:cheer2:
