I need your all's help. DH & I are wanting to take the kids out to dinner tonight. There's this nice independently owned diner in town that grows their own veggies and even slaughters their own cows, but we were thinking more along the lines of Chile's or Outback. What do you guys think? Would I be a bad mom if I took my kids to Outback? I'm just so torn! What if they try to feed my kids food that has previously been frozen? Do you think it will affect my children's capacity to mature at an advanced level. Also, DD can get kind of rambunctious - I would like to take her pacifier to keep her calm, but I'm afraid that all of the other mothers will judge me. Oh, what to do????? Should I just be a winner & actually cook dinner tonight?

Give me a month or two, and I'll be picking over 100 bushel a day, though. Can't wait til that happens. I won't have to worry about picking the crabs myself then!!

Considering there's normally 7'ish dozen crabs in a bushel, it's about 8 thousand four hundred crabs.

I'm not a real crab picker (or peeler as you say ), so I'm pretty slow compared to the real pickers. I probably pick a little less than 3 lb an hour.

I went back to work today. I have three bosses. 2 I love. I not so much. He thinks he is smarter than everyone and knows it all. Kinda the male pie. But today he told me he knows what a butthead he has been and he is sorry. I told him I donot care and I will not be helping him in any way. I will do my job for him that I need to do and the rest he is on his own. While I was out I made sure the accounting department did a full invertoy hit on him. He had no idea what he needed to do to be ready for them. Lets say it did not go wel for him. Karma is sweet.

I have no Waldo book but will check our library bookstore. I see them there occasionally and they're 25-50cents. I have a pile to donate so I'll check when I go--maybe this week.

We may be going to Fremont this weekend to take DD to a confirmation retreat. Is there anything up there to do/see? We've only been once--year ago when Thomas the Tank Engine made a visit. Other times we've driven by on the way to DH families up around Wayne, etc so never stopped. We might all go if there were something we could do, other wise a couple hours(round trip) in the car with DS won't be worth it and one of us will stay home.

I would stay home. I'm not sure there is anything in Fremont. We always stop at Sonic on our way to and from Omaha. Gotta love the Cherry Limeade.

Good Morning(?) Losers!! Today is the first day of spring break, and I celebrated by sleeping until 9:30 after a brief awakening to make DH's lunch and breakfast ( micro oatmeal ). I don't know if I am refreshed or still sleepy, my crud that is gone for the most part comes back at night with coughing. I have to take a sinus tablet and put part of a Hall's cough drop in my mouth to get to sleep. It's a wonder I dont' choke on it, but I don't.

I made a kennel reservation for Slobbermouth and Little Joe today, we may go to the "other" parks for a long weekend in May.. Last year I bought annual passes with an extra year free, so I am trying to get my money's worth. I also made an appointment for Slobbermouth, he has issues at both ends lately...

I am doing laundry today, and the last finished on the bathroom..I finished organizing/throwing out all the old stuff-meds, lotions, shampoos, etc...and the closet looks close to winnerdom...Close to a 1 on the cleancom. The only way I can approach that number is by one room at a time..never will all rooms be there at the same time!

I have nothing witty or interesting to add to the thread today. Someone find a troll thread, or a puddin/pie thread, or start something interesting. I need to have a little fun today..

My kids are bad in restaurants. We usually choose the loudest one we can find. I don't care what the food is like I just care that I don't have to cook.

Just make sure when she is running up and down the aisles you shout out "HEY UNIVERSAL STUDIOS !!! NOW YOU GET BACK OVER HERE!!!" so you can show everyone how clever and unique you are to name your child after a theme park..

I went to a friend's house today and ate at 2 chain restaurants. I also had my van battery go dead. I had to buy a new one for about a $100.00 and Husband wants to put it in. That should be fun and hopefully there won't be too much swearing going on.
