I'm back...but I am

The Sunday Night Insanity escalated to an unbelievable level in my house tonight ending up with my daughter knocking down the shower caddy thing (you know, those things that have springs on them that you wedge into your shower to put stuff on?)

Anyway, when fixing it....angry as all get out....I've managed to completely throw out my back and neck...grrrrrrrr.

Oh no. I hope you feel better soon. Bur when you see her sleeping tonight you will think how sweet she is

I am in a terrible mood. My kids are annoying the **** out of me, my husband is annoying the **** out of me, and I just want to scream and yell.

Linty, I am thinking it's allergies here, too. The pollen is so thick it leaves a yellow/green visible coating on everything. My worry now is that sometimes it developes into a sinus infection for me.. I hate sinus infections..


RVGal, glad you got all the bugs out of your house.. Post illness/preventative sanitization is one of the few excuses for good house cleaning.


My favorite movie of all time is "Breakfast at Tiffany's". "Crimes of the Heart" is another of my favs..I love movies with bizarre/quirky characters.

I've not been on the DIS when I was working. I just joined in November last year, and even though the factory was going, I wasn't working because I had pneumonia at the time.

Give me a little time, and I'll have co-worker stories to blow your mind.

Oh, and my MIL works for me, so I'll have a MIL/co-worker combo.

okay speaking of crazy people. John's mother of all mothers showed up.Johns brother told her that we are waiting to hear from the DR's if they got it all or if I will need to go back in for more surgery. Well the queen of mean has her medical opion of the whole thing. She said that if they need to go back in then maybe they have not done their job right. I want to slap her so bad. John Told her it was time for her to leave.She has no idea of what is going on. But then going out the door she told John if I look this bad before treatments then it is only going to get worse. So how much time would I get for killing the witch?

The next time she comes just ask HER if she came from the East or West Then you can chuckle and walk away because only YOU will know what your talking about.

Well, they're back. Nothing says loving mother/son bonding like looking up the cracks of your 10 and 8 year olds' butts for insects... total count-3 ticks each. I love camping..

Afternoon Losers,

So I washed my car today. And no I did not do one of the ones you drive thru I actually washed it by hand. But only because my drivers side window does not go up all the way and I did not feel like a shower today.
I am also doing laundry.
And now I want a nap.

That my dear is called multi-tasking! Or was it a slummin day and you weren't planning on showering anyway?

All right--raise hands. Who's cooking tonight? Me? Nope--got leftover ham that has to be eaten. That and a salad are our dinner and they'll like it or go without! (Told ya I earned the mean mom trophy )

Tonights menu consisted of easy pizza for the kids - betty crocker pizza dough packet - sauce, cheese, oven. Steak on Foreman grill for DH with a bag of steam fresh broccoli and egg noodles with butter & parm cheese. Everything was ready in about 20 minutes. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my foreman grill for easy cook, easy cleanup. My BIL gave it to us for Christmas and it has been a hit!

Health bugs - bad - go away! Why do they start at the beginning of the weekend not the end?

Jewelry - NICE!!! I had to buy 4 charms for DD to put away when I found out the pricing was going up when the Spring line came out. Is your Pandora Silver, Gold, or Two tone??? DD's is all silver but there are a couple two tone charms I might pick up. Make sure if you want any of the specialty charms that you get them before they stop carrying them. Also if your getting any holiday ones it's generally smart to get them MONTHS before you even get close! Think Ghost, pumpkin, scarecrow are in stock now but won't be come August/Sept.

Binkies - that war is awful!!! It's soo hard not to give in but once you do your back to square 1 again. I'm glad both my kids weren't really interested in them - but they still have their teddies/blankies in their beds that they've had since birth.

Clearly it's a guy thing. My DH has been gone in DC all week and he calls me to tell me just how terrible he's feeling So I can tell him how bad I feel for him and he's such a poor baby..... I pick up a lot of crap, and it would be nice if, just once, someone babied me when I was sick: made soup, cooked for the kids, did a load of laundry, picked up his underwear....

I cheated and we didn't have leftover ham. I picked DD up @ church around 6 and she talked me into KFC. I love their coleslaw and the kids don't eat it. Yum--I get the leftovers tomorrow. And the deal was they have to eat the rest of the Chicken tomorrow so I won't have to cook again!!!

I pick up a lot of crap, and it would be nice if, just once, someone babied me when I was sick: made soup, cooked for the kids, did a load of laundry, picked up his underwear....

I cheated and we didn't have leftover ham. I picked DD up @ church around 6 and she talked me into KFC. I love their coleslaw and the kids don't eat it. Yum--I get the leftovers tomorrow. And the deal was they have to eat the rest of the Chicken tomorrow so I won't have to cook again!!!

Unfortunately the hot water, soap and wax are both hard on my skin and my leather seats. Yes real leather seats. So I hand wash.

Grrrrrr....ain't it the truth. Last week my husband's foot hurt. He could "barely walk". He hopped through the house for two days....In my world, if that foot isn't attached backwards, you muscle it out and keep going. Grrrrr
