I got some flowers today to brighten up the new place

DH surprised me and sent me some roses today. He must have known I needed some cheering up after the bad night.

I haven't gotten roses since I was pregnant with our first child.

Oh, I take that back. He has been known to buy flowers from the street vendors selling them at the red lights. You know, 1 dozen half dead flowers for $2, just roll down your window and hand me the cash.

The corned beef, cabbage and potatoes are almost ready....I know, I know...St. Pat's was yesterday.

Well guys, it's been such a wonderful fun moving day.

But I'm beat. DS8 has put off his homework long enough. I need to fix dinner and load the dishwasher.

Then I'm crashing on the couch to watch some mindless TV. Have fun!

He does that every once and a while. Usually when he's away cause of work & sometimes out of the blue when he is home. He has done that since we were dating, it's like he has a sixth sense of knowing when I have had a REALLY bad day and need some cheering up

DH very rarely buys me flowers. He did come home with one dozen pink roses the day they confirmed my pregnancy. We also went out to eat baby back ribs that night.

I'm off DH's immediate boss and VP are in town and I get a free dinner out of them. Steak for the baby again tonight!! Woo Hoo!!

Oh yeah my DD is all better now, she's been fighting with her little brother. Also been chatting up a storm. She is a VERY talkative little girl & that's how we know when she's not feeling good, she stops talking. I think she's trying to make up for all the talking she wasn't able to do last night

I NEVER get flowers. I used to go to one of the big grocery stores on the days they got rid of their "expired" fresh flowers, you could just take them. I would get enough to make a nice big bouquet...FREE.......I am so pathetic... and then they told me I was taking too many...

It has to do with hitting every bar within walking distance of the monorail, and having to crawl your way back to your hotel.

If a meal involves eggs, cheese, olives, waffles AND cool whip... I'm pretty sure I don't want it.

Speaking of meals, why OH WHY did I make the traditional corned beef and cabbage for dinner yesterday? Oh, yes. Apparently, my husband needed a new reason to fart all night.

ROFL! I am glad we didn't have it. Although maybe I should have ate some to get back at my dh right now for snoring.
