I'm HOME!!!!

DH has taken the children away from me to give me a break. I need to do something about dinner, but I'm thinking I'm just going to eat a reeses egg to tide me over for a while.

We have already had our dinner. Ham with green bean cassarole, baked pineapple dish, some salad and home made rolls. Twas yummy.

they are gone ILs are gone and MIL only told DH he was fat about a dozen times this time I am so glad she doesnt say it to me bc I would throw a fit.

DH and DS10 left for the Flyers game so me and DS5 are juct hanging out. It is so nice to have it so quiet (until Ds 5 knocks something over or bellows for me that is)

I am enjoying my leftovers from Carrabas alst night. DS says he isnt hungry ye. It maybe cereal for dinner, we shall see.

We had our "Easter Dinner" at MIL's house mid-day. I didn't feel like going to the grocery store on the way home, so I plan to feed my family out of the freezer tonight....I know I have perogies in there...and some frozen chicken nuggets....and stuffed baked potatoes....


The stupid squirrel is trying desperately to get back into my house...I hear it on my roof scratching like crazy.

HAPPY EASTER!!

We went to the "new" church we found last week. I think we'll be regulars. Then we went with the neighbor, her kids, and the extra kid she had (a friend of all of ours) to church with them because they asked us to - that was an experience . Then we came back and the kids did a quick egg hunt in their back yard.

Afterward DH took us all out for lunch at Sirloin Stockade for buffet. Worked well with the kids and we all ate too much.

this afternoon has been dedicated to reading the Sunday papers, DH watching basketball, and now he's taking a nap. Poor guy worked over 65 hours this week including yesterday. Thankfully he doesn't work many Saturdays.

We're not making supper tonight, will just fend for ourselves. DH will most likely have popcorn.

I'm going to need to make a trip to Topeka to the Motherhood store to look for more maternity clothes if we're going to be going to church regularly (I'm short and it's the only place I can find short length maternity pants). It's almost an hour away, so we'll see if I make it there this week or not.

Hi y'all..Easter is finis as far as we are concerned..We had standing rib roast which I almost burned...peas, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole and rolls that I did burn when I went outside to yell at the neighbor boys who decided to ring my doorbell again. The kids are 14, 12 and their juvenile delinquent friend is 12 too. He moved away from across the street a year ago, wish I could get rid of the other two..It WAS funny, though, I walked over there and caught them in the back yard..Told them to "STOP WHERE YOU ARE!!" And when I confronted them, the very stupid former neighbor soon to be juvie pointed directly at the oldest and said "he did it!" No problem with that stool pigeon. (this kid might as well have "future juvenile deliquent" tattooed on his forehead.) So I fussed at the 14 year old who did it, and tried to embarrass him by saying that was a baby thing to do and he was way too old for that kind of silliness..Told them they would NOT do that again..they agreed. After saying it was a baby thing to do, I was thinking about the more grown up trouble the kid will probably cause me in the future.

The parents of the older one and his brother are the sweetest people in the world...they are from Iran..I don't know what is the problem with the boys, although they do seem to only get into trouble when the ex neighbor is around. Is it wrong to hate a child??? because I am really, really close on this one.....

I haven't read back too much...but are you going as a larger group?

Everytime we've gone to the Hoop De Doo as a larger group (at least 6 or more) we've had a blast!

My kids (9 and 11) choose that over any other dinner option.

Even the adults have a great time.

Happy Easter everyone!!

We had a very close call last night. The Easter Bunny almost didn't make it.

DH was watching boxing, and I'm sitting on the couch, both of us waiting for the kiddo's to go to sleep.

Boxing is not my thing, so I fell asleep. DH woke me up when he was headed for bed, so I stumble upstairs, still half asleep and not really thinking about anything except my bed.

I make it up the stairs, start taking clothes off, crawl into bed, cover up, and ahhh, back to sleep.

HOLY CRAP!! I sat straight up about 3 minutes later. DH, DH, the Easter Bunny never came!!
Yeah, well, go ahead, he tells me.

Gee thanks. You're such a knight in shining armor, aren't you?

I'm personally very fond of the trolls. They're why I'm hooked on this place. I suspect they're why you are too (or at least one particular pie baking troll hooked you). Trolls are the spice of life.
