Mmmmm Ruby Tuesday.

I'm making hobo dinner tonight. Dh is making some kind of sausage biscuit things.

If a bunny shows up at my house, we're gonna cook it and eat it!!!

OMG youd eat Peter Cottontail? :scared1: :scared:

Back from talking to the Easter Bunny!! I came home to drop off all the goodies before I pick up the kids.

I wonder how long my MIL will keep them before she calls me up and tells me to come get my crazy kids?

I have a shiny quarter that says an hour:yay:

I say right after you sit down and get comfortable.
For gosh sakes don't try and take a nap cause you know as soon as you drift off the phone will ring.

Happy almost Easter everyone! Welcome TurboKitty :)
My dd and I just died some eggs...pretty! My ds was more interested in the WII, and didn't help us this year :( I guess 4th graders are too cool for that????

Hi all,

Just checking in. We are done at the in-laws. The kids are now trying to kill each other. The Easter Bunny has done his shopping and will be delivering things for the water park and buckets for the sand box.

I will not be cooking a big meal because my MIL sent home all of the leftovers because they are going out of town for a week and she didn't want it to spoil.

I have not read back because I am too lazy. Hope everything is going ok for everyone.

update: I'm sitting in the sun drinking beer and watching my son preparing to smash a window with a golf ball and/or club. Also a couple of **** flies keep landing on me. Maybe I stink.

OMG. I just sat down at the computer to avoid mopping my floors and what should I come across -- THIS THREAD.

Happy Easter -- Happy Spring!

hi losers! What's shakin today??? I have been almost winnerish again today. Got the bday cake baked, easter eggs dyed (but I didn't do it--kids did) and some jello beans made, got some laundry done and went to the store for 'stuff' (and had a Starbucks while I was at it:goodvibes ). Can I just tell you all how much I enjoy leaving my kids at home by themselves and going shopping without them? :cool1: I saw some poor mom pushing her 2 boys in one of those 2-seater monster carts at Target and she was def. NOT a happy woman! I told Dh that I like leaving my kids at home.

Then I got home and DD was cleaning her room:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: We found a string of pearls, that appear to be real, and can't figure out where they came from. :confused3 I called my mom to see if she's lost any or given any to DD, but she said no. I told Dh to call his mom. She threw away 2 large bags of trash, filled one large bag with clothes for the Vets to pick up next week, and now I have about 2 dozen books to donate to the library. Mind you, her room is not that big. It's no wonder the place was a mess!

Now there is still easter egg dye to pour out and I have to ice/decorate the cake (I'm doing a Peeps cake since her bday it tomorrow and we call her Chick/Chicky/Chicken) I'll try to take a pic if I get it done later. The kitchen table still had all those books plus some other stuff that was relocated for the egg-dying so we are going out for a day-early bday dinner at Famous Dave's since they sent her a coupon for a free something (probably dessert). Oh well. It means I don't have to cook!:dance3:

You're damn skippy we would. Bet he'd taste like chicken!

I broke down and bought some junk for the kids. I refuse to hide it though. (They're 13 and 10. They'll likely get sick of looking and let it grow hair before finding it.)

Our dog eats peter cottontail. Our oldest daugter woke us one fine sunday morn to tell us that the dog had a rabbit. I went to investigate and found the dog trying to get in the house with a skinned and headless rabbit.

Hey, losers. I have to go dye eggs. I don't wanna.

I'm tired of being so damn busy. I swear, I'm not doing a damn thing on Monday. Yeah.

I need a drink.

Can you Fed Ex me a drink at my in-laws?

We're doing the bedtime battle again...I swear my children are the spawn of the devil....where's DH you may ask? Downstairs with his folks in quiet bliss while I try to get a three and five year old to go to sleep in the same bed. I'm in the middle...kind of like Switzerland.

Welcome to the newbies....hope you kick back and enjoy a judgement free zone.

Hi Everyone! Been a kindof winner mom today. Went to Costco, Target, B&N, TRU, Kroger, Tom Leonards & Mc D's drive thru! Dyed easter eggs w/ all 4 kids. Cut up a pineapple, and more. Tomorrows another busy day. Just waiting on the oldest to go to bed so I can get the EB stuff done. Have a great Easter.

Shore I love your stories!:rotfl:

Eggs dyed. One child asleep 2 to go and then the EB can come and visit.

EB snuck in downstairs while DH was with the bad children upstairs.

The girl is asleep, the boy is not. Last night I got about three and a half hours of sleep...let's see how tonight goes.
