We were supposed to go to MGM today but because of the parade we decide to head to Blizzard beach for the morning and then head over to AK later on just in time for the parade.
this would have been fine but at about 11.30 i suddenly realised we had effectively wasted a whole day of our 7 day passes on two hours at AK !
i decided to drop one of our mgm days instead :sad1:

Anyway we had a lovely few hours messing about at BB and had lunch using our CS credits
we then headed over to AK...doesn't it look sunny :woohoo:

i had spent all day watching the sky :sad2: but luckily the sun shone and the parade went ahead, here we are all dressed up

the parade was a fantastic experience and i was so thrilled to take part....my arm was hurting from all the waving but it was such a buzz seeing the crowd clapping and waving at us :)

After the parade we were going to eat at spoodles, this made complete sense when we were at Mgm but no sense from AK :confused3 however it was well worth the hassle, we had a great meal
unfortunatly in my greed i forgot to take any pics (sorry Karen) so you will have to make do with this shot of the boardwalk instead!

the food at spoodles was delicious....dh and I both had flatbread to start and I had the Rigatoni and dh had one of the specials (neither of us can remember what though :guilty: :guilty:
dh had the white choc orange cake for dessert and I had creme brulee ...it was very yummy and all plates were cleared.

we got the bus back to pop after a brief stroll around the boardwalk.

coming tomorrow....its my birthday

fab piccie of you all in the parade Nat, it must have been very exciting

thats a great family pic Nat, and what a wonderful experience!
(nice to see you doing things as a family! :rotfl2: )

Nat we were in the MK parade a couple of years ago, when we see parade's now we always wave at the families as we know how hard it is to wave all the way around the park :)

Oh Nat, what a tremendous experience and such a wonderful memory for you all. I just love the photo!
