Nice.....and the key ring tag is already worn. You must be doing some spirited driving!

lol... the key ring is actually older than the key it has connected. It was a bit awkward to have the Porsche Key Ring but no Porsche.... so the problem had to be remedied

What's the goo on the "L" key? (Porsche) Cayenne pepper?

A bit of red paint... I am an artist after all.. lol. In PR, the democrats actually use red, and the repubs use blue

But I do have to say TSK TSK! Those are not liberal automobiles you are discussing! I may have to revoke your cards guys!

true, but it's an elitist car!

I drive a hybrid. I'm liberaler than you are.:goodvibes

My daily driver's a diesel. Let me run that bad boy on veggie oil, and I'll be the liberalest :rotfl:

True, but the elitist factor trumps, or at least offsets, the environmental issues. The overall liberalness is still high IMO.:thumbsup2

Yup

I  my Suburu Legacy station wagon..! Not as liberal as a hybrid, only because I can't afford one.

I ***ADORE*** Subaru... seriously, aside from the god awful dog ugly pre-facelift Subaru Tribeca, I love every car they've made.

Sportscars and men...tsk tsk..I remember when my DB hit his 40's and had to have a Corvette...

I'm still a while away from my 40's... this car's just an investment ;) To prove I'm not a socialist, I bought the car with 2 others, registered it under a company we own, and it will be exported to Venezuela at a profit to us, and in turn, we will have made money. Pfft... who says liberals can't understand business.

I'll have to agree that the Elitist factor makes up for the lack of being a hybrid of any sort....

I've had a thing for German cars for years now... I'm totally an elitist. Or if the car is made east enough, then I'm also a Socialist :rotfl2:

yes, we are looking at hybrids for the next time around, who wouldn't given the choice?? I'd rather keep my dollars here than ship them off, to a foreign, oil producing country.... Well, except for the Porsche, I'll give it a whole hearty thumbs up! :thumbsup2

I looked at Hybrids, but at the end, my I did something in the Jetta TDI that I couldn't do in any hybrid. I chirped the tires.

I've been chirping a lot of tires in the Porsche... I took a right hand turn, a full 90 degrees, at 50mph, without losing composure. I love that car

Are you associating with Chavez? *gasp* shhhhhhhhhhhh!! Don't let anyone know, you will be labeled a terrorist. Then again, one of us may adopt you ..and what do you mean you aren't 40 yet..? Way to hurt a person...an old person. :rolleyes1

I have to agree on the Jetta TDI, it's a Diesel that you could run on alternative fuel... and with it's fuel mileage, I'd say it's a definite keeper! It's also still on our radar as you know :)

Liberal, elitist, socialist... I may as well add terrorist to the collection

I'm in my 30's... no midlife crisis yet

It's an economic car... that drives like a real car. What an amazing concept :lmao: :lmao:

I just found out that a former school mate of my daughter's has a role in the movie Milk...A jump from Jack Frost, congratulations to Joe Cross. He should be very proud to be part of this ensemble, telling a very timely and needed story about Harvey Milk..:thumbsup2

Goodness sakes, people. You are all slacking off today.

I just made a turkey and all the trimmings. I'm not sure why, but when I went to Whole Foods this morning, this turkey was calling my name. It said "Chris, why don't you cook me and eat me today?" And so I did.

Okay people, surely you have something to talk about. Hmmm. Let me think.

Here's a question for you:

When did you first call yourself a liberal?

When I knew I had to share a bedroom with my sister and my baby brother. :rolleyes1

I cleaned all day. It's back to NY tomorrow....boohoo

And here's tomorrow's:

On the 18th day pre-Obama, my SO gave to me
Two French Hens! (anything French is liberal right????)
.
.
.
.
.yes I know it's backwards, call me perverse

I think it was when my uncle explained the financial issues regarding Vietnam back in the mid 60's. I would have been 12 or 13. My parents were appalled, lol! I don't know that I actually used the term 'liberal' then but that's what I was for sure. My high school drama teacher seriously asked me, "why don't you want to be like all the other kids?" I was her star performer but she wanted me to conform to some Ozzie and Harriet lifestyle. Man, if I saw her today, I'd think about kicking her in the shins - 'like all the other kids' Indeed! I wasn't some kind of sheep you herded into a group then and I'm not now.

Happy New Year Everyone!

just double checked, and 103 is cnbc in my neck of the woods. I'm going to go through the channels again. I did check the channel guide and it doesn't show msnbc.

Our channel guide doesn't have it listed. I was channel surfing and one day it was there!

102 is CNBC for us - 104 Bloomberg

Hope you find it!

Still no MSNBC? Well, you are in serious need of The Olbermann's wisdom.

Maybe someone will post his dreamy photo for you.

When did you first call yourself a liberal?

Sorry - been fighting a stomach virus - damn thing won't leave!

I become a democrat when Ronald Reagan took away my financial aid - deeming that my parents could afford to send me to college all on their own.....

Well - they weren't prepared for that - or any of us with a college fund. And they didn't make that much money - we were always living paycheck to paycheck with them........

And not only did he take away my financial aid - but he reduced the amount of the LOAN I could take - hell, it was a loan I was going to pay back (and eventually did taking all 10 years to do it)!

So I barely made do during my last years in college - he even took away my job I had on campus, because it was subsidized with federal dollars.

I got a part time job working at a department store my junior\senior year - fortunately I had asthma, so I was allowed a car on campus (my shift was MWF nights, and Saturday alternating day or night). I also got into heavy credit card debt - but I made it - I graduated!

I ended up keeping that part time job for 13 years to help pay off all those debts I incurred those last two years.

My brother ended up quitting school junior year because his part time pay was lucrative (deli manager at a supermarket). He ended up going back to get his degree after his son was born..... He was tired of working weekends. Anyhow, I digress.......

The second reason why I will always remain a democrat is that I am pro-choice, and think the government should stay out of my reproductive freedom.

And I believe that the government should help all its citizens (education, health care, retirement), not just the privileged few.

The DRAMA teacher wanted you to be like the other kids? Now that's a new one.

All the other kids in my high school were liberal to some degree, mostly because their parents were blue-collar union types, so it was kind of a non-issue.

Oh, we have it - its Oreo who doesn't.

It just showed up for us one day in the middle of the year - no fanfare and it has no official listing - but its secretly there......

I remember that! I was okay because I'd been in the military, but it hurt a lot of my friends. All of my friends came from middle class households, but none of their parents could really afford college without the loans.

Yet another reason why I think Reagan was the second world president ever.

Who's number #1? :rolleyes1
