Norm Coleman is trying to steal the Minn. Senate seat by suing to stop the vote recount. The Colemans are also being investigated by the FBI for a Coleman supporter funnelling $75,000 in bogus insurance commissions to Coleman's wife in order to help the Colemans pay for the remodeling of their home (which remodeling happened to be $80,000 over budget). Now on top of suing to stop the counting the votes, the Colemans have lawyered up with Norm Coleman having one criminal lawyer, his wife a different criminal lawyer, the wife's employer has now hired his own criminal defense attorney and the giver of the bribe has his own team of lawyers.

The GOP sure is keeping a large number of lawyers busy right now. Even if Coleman is successful in stealing this election, he will face some FBI and ethics charges if he makes back to the Senate.

I got the sticker a few weeks ago. It sits right next to my computer along with the voting information I saved!!!

Yesterday it was 62 degrees here in the Pocono's but it snowed overnight!

Nothing strange about that though right? No climate change, global warming etc???


This community just spent a million dollars to redo our ski hill. In this economy with the temp changes it was a very stupid move...but this place is red... FT

Just came from my eldest daughter's preschool Xmas program. She goes to Montessori school and there is a nice variety of kids with different ethnicities/religions who attend and they make sure that everyone's included in the musical selections. The kids all sung The Dradle Song (Dradle, dradle, dradle, I made it out of clay...) but what I thought was so cute was that one of the little girls in her class who is Muslim, who wears a headscarf with her school uniform every day, sung along, loud and clear. Her parents who we're sitting next to my wife and me and I looked over and they were smiling and clapping along with the rest of the parents. I leaned over to my wife with a wink and said "Even after all the crap we've been through for the last 7+ years, this America's a pretty great place, huh?".

Yep, it sure is! Reminds me of the time when my sister (who is Catholic), moved to Chicago and sent her DS to a Jewish preschool because she felt it was the best school in the area. He learned all of the traditional Hanukkah songs and traditions right along with the traditional Christian songs. Thinking about him now, he is one the best level- headed teens I know.
