Gooood morning!

And happy Christmachaunakwanzica to everyone!

We're one more day closer to January 20th!

DD is in a figure skating show this afternoon, so I thought I'd just pop in and say :wave2: before I start my busy day. She's skating in 3 different programs (songs) and one solo program. After today, that will be one more thing finished that I can cross of the list.

I'm finally done Christmas shopping for my terrorists, so I'm happy about that. I guess you could call me a bad ruler for being soft on their "demands." As they get older, they also want us to buy gifts for their terrorist friends!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

I saw the floppy ears reference, and it just shows a lack of maturity and gives you insight into a person's lack of morals and ethics. The best part is the people who use this reference and then cling to their religious beliefs, ironic to say the least.

Yeah. OK.

Is it that Bush looks like a monkey, or is it just that they found monkeys that look like Bush? :magnify:

I don't get the "floppy ear" thing myself. If you're going to make fun of someone, at least be somewhat accurate, or at least more funny about it!

?

Maybe Barry should be wearing that hat.

Good day everyone :) I think the count might be 37 :)

Ears are the discussion of the day? Sounds like something my daughter would comment on when she was six, she's not quite a teen now but she knows better than to comment on such things. I think the word is called RESPECT, and I don't know about you guys but we are firm believers in it.

Has anyone noticed that nobody is talking about the Chinese, Japanese and European Countries have had to loan their car company's money during this wonderful economic time? Apparently we don't like to talk about such things. Only the American Workers are to blame here. Well, who needs them anyways when Honda and Toyota build cars right here in this country, well, with incentives given to them by our tax dollars, but that's besides the point.

I don't see so much trouble where we are and flights to Orlando are full, so things are really great regarding the economy, don't let the nay sayer's get ya down :rolleyes1

My nieces came over the other day.

Maddy and Isa. Ages 3 1/2 and 4 1/2.

There I was, making them some drinks in the kitchen when I hear one screaming bloody murder. I run into the living room to see what was a clatter. Maddy (older one) was crying and pointing at her sister.

When I got her calmed down, she told me Isa had hit her over the head with a snowman figurine I had in my living room. I cart Isa off to time out.

I head back to the kitchen to make them lunch. When what do I hear?

Bang! Scream scream scream!

I hightail it into the living room, and the OTHER sister is now crying.

I look at Maddy and say: "Now why is Isa crying?"

Maddy looks at me with total honesty in her face and says:

"Isa hit me with the snowman, so I did it to her."

Maddy then gets carted off to time out.

So, who needs a time out?

Just wanted to say I hope all of my libs had a wonderful weekend and have a wonderful start to the week!

See ya'll manana!

In the honor of those who celebrate it, Happy Yule! I've been wished happy yule by someone who celebrates it, so I extend the wishes to all here!

The GOP has called on Rove to coordinate the attacks on Attorney General nominee Eric Holder's confirmation. There is some irony here in that a new AG will be responsible for enforcing any congressional subpoenas that may be issued requiring Rove to finally testify on either the US Attorney firings or on the Siegleman abuse of power scandal. The current AG has been breaking the law by refusing to allow the US Attorney for DC to take these contempt charges to a grand jury. I guess Rove wants to delay the confirmation of a real attorney general as long as possible.

Hmm, yes, I had heard this, I think the irony is fantastic... Once Holder is confirmed I really hope he does the job that has not been done lawfully for years.
