Al Franken Got Great News Today!

There was a critical meeting of the state canvassing board for the Minnesota Senate Seat and the board ruled in favor of Franken on two key issues

I agree that this was indeed a great day for democracy
Norm Coleman has filed an appeal with the Minnesota Supreme Court. The trouble with this appeal is that two members of the canvassing board who voted in favor of Franken are two of the republican members of the Minnesota Supreme Court. Asking these justices to reverse their prior vote seems a little desparate. Coleman is asking the courts to ignore votes just so that he can win and I do not think that argument will succeed.

I hope for hope's sake that his argument won't succeed!

Oooooooh. How pretty! :teeth:

Did you look out? Were you able to see the witches on their brooms more clearly under the bright moonlight?

I was out in my PJ's and slippers shooting away...( with my camera! I am not armed and not afraid) and howling..:lmao:

My neighbor shoots at the raccoons and other various wildlife that go in his garbage (not a camera).
Kinda freaks me out, however, rabid raccoons have surfaced here now and then.
His desire to keep his garbage in the can has taken a horrible turn.
The latest villian is a lab ( I had to clean my garbage up for the past two weeks), my neighbor commented that he will take care of this "problem".
I explained this was not a problem, it is a dog.
For the past two days I been trying to unsuccessfully trying apprehend the Lab, so I can read it's tags to locate the owners and beg them to keep their dog in the yard.

What a tool. Sounds like he's overcompensating.

I've had raccoons on my deck at night, even skunks. I love them all, that is why I bought a home in the country, for nature and the wildlife..

Your neighbor is lucky he doesn't have bears going through his garbage! or maybe the bears are the lucky ones. Try to grab that dog!

I am trying, I missed him again this morning.
If my neighbor wasn't planning on shooting the dog it would be quite funny.
This dog who I nicknamed el diablo is so funny.
He has not only goes after garbage he destroys christmas lights and decorations :rotfl:
We have minature lighted trees that line our walk, el diablo has taken down three.
He also brings us new decorations. So far we now own a chewed up jumbo cany cane and something that looks like a sandled foot

Yesterday, the SCOTUS considered and did not grant a request for an injunction to stop the electoral college from meeting on Monday, December 15. This is in addition to the request for injunction that was rejected on Monday, December 8. These requests for injunctions were the last hopes for the conservatives who were hoping that the Obama birth certificate silliness would stop President Elect Obama from becoming President Obama. The number of cases filed by these idiots is amazing and is really a waste of the time. I think that there are a couple dozen such law suits filed so far.

Sadly, I doubt this is the end of this.

But, I hope they cry into their cheerios come Monday morn.

The virus for rabies used not to affect raccoons in the US until some idiot imported some raccoons for hunting a couple of which had the variation of the virus that can affect a raccoon. Now this variation of the rabies virus is spreading on the East Coast and has reached your part of the country. Some hope that the raccoons with this variation of the rabies virus will have trouble crossing the Mississippi but I am not so sure.
