My six-year old named her Yoda. He's going through the Star Wars phase.

Perhaps phase is the wrong word, as my husband is still going through that "phase."

www.501st.com ::yes::

Jay Leno: "Know what you call Ann Coulter with her jaw wired shut?"

"Charming."

:lmao:

I saw that part, and since I'm not a natural born shopper, I saw "Boyfriend Ads". :lmao:

Good luck with that! Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

:rotfl2:

OK....My wife broke her leg on tuesday, so my thanksgiving has been a bit of a hactic day....however, that broken bone has saved me hundreds of dollars as my wife is out of commission on "black friday"!!!!

Sorry about her leg, but make sure she stays away from the computer of the next few days. Not only are there online Black Friday sales, but the past few years companies have been offering even better discounts on "Cyber Monday" :scared1:

Good morning libs! :teeth:

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

And in case no one's told ya' yet...

53 days!!!

I'm sorry about your wife's leg. Isn't there something that happens on Monday? Shopping on the computer? 'Cause you know, if she's near a computer on Monday, well, she may be able to make up for lost time. (ITA: AH! Cyber Monday! as noted above. There you go).

Good morning everyone!

Um, can someone tell me how to multi-quote so I feel all smart and everything?

just click the quote buttons next to the actual "quote" button (click them in each post you want to quote....)

then click the actual "quote" button and they should all show up in your response...

Interesting. I think we saw some of those guys at our science museum last month. They did a show. I didn't know they were so organized, though.

::yes:: They are also the ones who march during Star Wars Weekends.

We're going there in two weeks and my son and husband are having a day alone (away from the twins--I think we're going shopping). Is there anything Star Wars we won't want to miss?

All I know about is the ride at Hollywood Studios and the Build a Lightsaber thing at Downtown Disney.

Yay! I am so excited!

I can't wait! I'm going to go make an organic, free-range egg white omelet with arugula and heirloom tomatoes whilst reading the Washington Post. :goodvibes ;) The days seem to be passing quickly, January 20 will be here before we know it! :cloud9:  :cloud9:

I am very saddened by the events in India, I'm going to have to see what President Bush has said about all of this. :( It sounds just awful. :sad1:

What? No caviar and lobster??? Pfffft. And you call yourself elitest. :snooty:

On another note...I've been watching and reading up on India. :sad1:

Just make sure the food is locally sourced, or it doesn't count. Better yet, your Freegan friends "found' the arugula in a dumpster behind a chi chi restaurant = extra libera points.

And invite a few homeless, preferably illegals or Native Americans, in to share it with you.

Don't forget the 20 bonus points for eating on 100% recyclable materials.

And you get 50 if you shed a tear for the arugula who sacrificed its' soul to contribute to your meal.:flower3:

Only if you asked the arugula if you could eat it first!

Wouldn't want to offend the heathen LIberal gods! :confused3

Make sure you all get together after your meal and sing "Blowin' in the Wind" with all your friends. Extra points if one of your guests is a 60s holdover who plays the guitar still thinks the Weathermen are cool. You'll indulgently smile at his stories and secretly wish you had something to rebel against when you were in college other than acid washed jeans and that one time you deliberately skipped your 8:00 a.m. class.

Then someone should tell about their last ecotourism trip, the one they took to Central America.

Finally, someone will mention November 4th and you'll all get emotional. Someone will start singing "Blowin' in the Wind" again and you'll all have a group hug.

Good evening libs.

I just finished up dinner. An organic chicken breast served on a bed of arugula (also organic). Yummmm! Served on recycled paper plates (JUST SAY NO TO STYROFOAM!) with linen napkins, which I will wash in my biodegradable laundry detergent (it's also hypoallergenic).

I adopted a star today...and I named it after the person to which I most aspire...Barack Obama.

Earlier, I crocheted myself a sweater made from naturally-dyed wool fibers while meditating with my patchouli incense burning in the background.

Now it's time to kick off my birks and watch MSNBC. (the only true news network)

Peace and Love my friends. :hippie: and :lovestruc
